Then i must be very lucky, downloaded and installed successfully :-)

I posted earlier regards the lagfix error, but no replied from all the sifu here :-(

Hope will get some reply, i shall try again:

1) Any different between lagfix 1.0 and 2.3?

2) anyone of you encouter problem with JG4 + lagfix 2.3?

3) i m currently on lagfix 1.0, if there is no problem with JG4+lagfix 2.3, thinking of upgrade it, if i do upgrade, do i need to unfix the 1.0 before upgrade to 2.3?

poor guy, let me help out.

1)I tried both, 2.3 seems a lil bit faster, about 100+ quadrant score higher

2) No problem so far, I'm using Samset JM5 1.9d + LagFix

3) Yes you must unfix 1.0, best is just re-flash a new firmware, it will clean up your lagfix.
*
thank mate...!

Re-flash a new firmware, well, i m using Kies, and currently on the latest JG4, dun think Kies can do re-flash right?

sad.gif pretty weird... upgraded to lagfix beta 2.3 on my JG4

cant tell the speed as i didnt not install any sw to compare the speed but a very clear problem when i compare to 1.0.

on 1.0, switch from wifi to Edge (i keep my fon on GSM, for battery sake and also suggested by all the sifu here), it is immediate. But on 2.3... it take ages to switch back to Edge, ie i dun see the E beside the netwk strengh bar.

Then i tried to unfix the 2.3 and lagfix back to 1.0.. the immediate effect is back.. Dunno it is because it does not go well with JG4.. rclxub.gif

HELP HELP...!!!!

My fon hanged just now, so i did a hard reset by pressing Vol up + Start + Home button. Hence brought me to manual restart screen.

I went and choose wipe cache partition, then wipe data/factory reset..

Now when i restart my fon, after the initial screen showing 'Samsung I9000' usually will be follow by a dancing 'S' before go into the page where we can key in the SIM password. Now i dun have the dancing 'S' anymore...

How to revert back to original????

By doing the 2 wipes above, what would happen to my phone... ???

A reflash will undo the lagfix. Then you can find out who SMS-ed you and go beat him.

Just got some tutorial from jujx.. many thank to him, now trying to download the firmware and odin as suggested by hihihehe at the 1st page. Hope reflashed it will resolved the problem.

I happened to see send sender of the sms before it interupted my unfix, it was from MAXIS...

What an idiot! I called Maxis to tell ask them where can i get my problem to be looked into, they told me to go to any maxis centre, and i repeated asking, shd i go to samsung direct, they so confident told me that, cos i m still within waranty period, so shd go maxis centre and they will despatch the phone for me for repair if needed.

Hence i choose KLCC, arrived, got the number and waited my turn, technician told me that "oh... this need to send to samsung" and told me to go samsung at Plaza Sentral.. of which i took LRT there (trying to be environmentally friend for not driving), arrived Sentral.. gosh.. they told me that is the sale office, shd go either Berjaya or PJ (but pls go PJ, cos that the place where all the most experience technician, this is what they told me)...

This is what bolehland... always give wrong instruction to customer!

juz took a week for delivery?...damn fast..i tried ZAGG but its dust magnet..hows gadgetshield?..its dust magnet and hows the surface?..
*
Well, mine took a wk, but my friend purchase for his HTC Desire took about 2wks. perhaps i m lucky in that wk :-)

Surface, smooth.

U dun need to spray anything to apply, when u purchase, u can go to their website to learn to how apply it properly... Bottom line is... cheaper version compare to ZAGG rclxms.gif

Funny region code that one. Surprisingly, when I loaded this firmware on my phone, I got these version numbers:

PDA : I9000ZSJH1
PHONE : I9000ZSJH1
CSC : I9000ZSJH1

Hong Kong firmware, I believe.
*
Tnx mate. ZS - mean china and HK.

Well, i think i will just keep it at XWJM5 + lagfix 2.3 now.. wait till froyo 2.0, then will think of other update.
