The ABT house is trying to get an agreement with VW Malaysia so that whatever mods that people get from their shop at Glenmarie would not void the warranty and this includes the Stage 1 upgrade to 190bhp.

For those of you worried about the warranty void, just pray that ABT will be able to negotiate well with VW Malaysia so that all of their mods will not void any warranty

Well I got a couple of friends who placed orders for the 1.4 Rocs. You probably haven't seen them yet until the dealers start to pass the units on to their customers.

You can check out VW Wearnes along Jalan Maarof in Bangsar as well. They have a VW Polo test drive unit available.

Where did you book your GTI? I heard that stock is low at the moment.

It depends on terms of what you want to add on, the original ABT tuning and bodykits won't come cheap. You will probably spend more than RM10k on them. As it is, the Golf engine tuning package is already at RM6k. Of course there are other places where you might be able to tune your engine as well at a cheaper price. Note that all of these tuning will void your warranty so you can technically kiss your 5-years good bye. Only thing is that if FA manages to get the agreement from VW Malaysia that the ABT tuning would not void the warranty, then that would be a good sign.

Yup heard the same thing from my dealer as well.

Any tips on which SC should we avoid in order not to be dissapointed?

Heard that the Roc is running low on stock. Next batch is next year.

Well, my car reached the port on the 17th of October and it arrived in the show room on Thursday last week (4th November). You can do the math here.

What they normally would do is bring it through Puspakom inspection, send it for waxing and polishing, change the settings from German to English, register with JPJ, etc.

The aluminium pedals alone are RM520 without installation.

The door sills are RM500 for 8 pieces without installation.

Personally I would go for the 1% rebate because I didn't get it from my SC and I already have an iPad

But on a more serious note, I would prefer cash savings rather than electronic items which in time would depreciate.

Ah didn't know that you were there. Well, so far the 1.4 engine personally is very powerful. I used to drive the 1.8 Civic and the 1.4 is way more powerful than that

For the Polo owners, I have a set of 16" Atlanta Rims and tyres available if they are interested in upgrading their rides

Not selling them yet, currently they are stored in my in-laws place. The tyre shop wrapped them up nicely for me so it will still be brand new.

Wait until I send my car in for the 1st service which will be in less than 2 weeks time.

If you want the brake pedals, I can pass you the contact who brings them in.

If I am not mistaken, the accelerator pedal will have to be replaced as the parts in the picture shows the entire accelerator pedal. So it's not a simple stick on.
