QUOTE(super911 @ Oct 15 2010, 06:20 AM) Tested it for about 20mins. It is like driving Mazda 2 feeling. The car is really very cramp, feel like sitting inside viva. For that price, can go for mit lancer with better performance and space. Really? I didn't feel that cramp when I sat inside the VW Polo. Or wait, are you referring to the Fiesta?

QUOTE(mikelee @ Oct 18 2010, 12:27 AM) Question is do you mind the 2 doors? Do you find it a hassle? Do you fetch many people often? Regarding the ECU remap, some people say it void warranty and some people say don't. I am not sure myself. Did you mentioned this to your SA? I am looking into the Roc 1.4 too, test driving it this week. The ABT house is trying to get an agreement with VW Malaysia so that whatever mods that people get from their shop at Glenmarie would not void the warranty and this includes the Stage 1 upgrade to 190bhp.

For those of you worried about the warranty void, just pray that ABT will be able to negotiate well with VW Malaysia so that all of their mods will not void any warranty

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Oct 25 2010, 06:08 PM) damn near myr190k for a 1.4 2-door is a lot! maybe that's why i barely see them on the road. i think we'll see more 2.0TSI roccos on the road than we will 1.4s. Well I got a couple of friends who placed orders for the 1.4 Rocs. You probably haven't seen them yet until the dealers start to pass the units on to their customers.

QUOTE(hanifw @ Nov 2 2010, 07:28 PM) Not quite yet, but currently favors polo over inspira.... interested to know how much to add the tuning, accessories etc before decide.. if too much, then will reconsider... =D It depends on terms of what you want to add on, the original ABT tuning and bodykits won't come cheap. You will probably spend more than RM10k on them. As it is, the Golf engine tuning package is already at RM6k. Of course there are other places where you might be able to tune your engine as well at a cheaper price. Note that all of these tuning will void your warranty so you can technically kiss your 5-years good bye. Only thing is that if FA manages to get the agreement from VW Malaysia that the ABT tuning would not void the warranty, then that would be a good sign.

QUOTE(ultraman29 @ Nov 9 2010, 10:50 AM) Hi, anybody knows once the car reaches the port, how long it takes before its available for delivery? My SA mentioned that the custom side normally takes ages before it reaches the showroom. anytime between 2-4 wks. once the car reaches the showroom, they will take another few days for them to do the inspection etc. maybe another week. Like that by the time i get the car will be december liao.. Well, my car reached the port on the 17th of October and it arrived in the show room on Thursday last week (4th November). You can do the math here. What they normally would do is bring it through Puspakom inspection, send it for waxing and polishing, change the settings from German to English, register with JPJ, etc.

QUOTE(Yan @ Nov 9 2010, 12:26 PM) how much u think for the door strips and also the alu brake and gas pedals ? The aluminium pedals alone are RM520 without installation. The door sills are RM500 for 8 pieces without installation. This post has been edited by Mavik: Nov 9 2010, 02:45 PM

QUOTE(walle @ Nov 9 2010, 01:55 PM) My SA offer either 1% rebate or ipad n 1 free service wor..for golf 1.4 tsi Personally I would go for the 1% rebate because I didn't get it from my SC and I already have an iPad But on a more serious note, I would prefer cash savings rather than electronic items which in time would depreciate. Added on November 9, 2010, 2:46 pmQUOTE(StratOS @ Nov 9 2010, 02:31 PM) those in the pic are only for the new golf right? planning to get a scirocco.. but i duno how well the 1.4cc engine can perform.. Yeah, the Roc has their own version of stuffs as well. Go test drive the car and you can first hand test for yourself how well the engine performs. It really is amazing IMHO. QUOTE(phas3r @ Nov 9 2010, 06:03 PM) Mavik you got yourself a set of denvers eh? haha Yeah it was going for quite cheap so I really couldn't resist getting them! Added on November 10, 2010, 12:53 amQUOTE(limand @ Nov 9 2010, 05:59 PM) Hi guys, any idea of how long is the waiting period for the Golf TSI now? Considering on getting it, maybe in within this 1-2 weeks. The wait would depend on which dealer you go to. Some might have remaining stock but I know mine has limited stock left. Otherwise you might have to wait till next year March to get it. This post has been edited by Mavik: Nov 10 2010, 12:53 AM

QUOTE(jerrychiang @ Nov 10 2010, 10:23 AM) hi friend, can kindly pm me ur offer? thinking of getting it. got picture? QUOTE(ultraman29 @ Nov 10 2010, 10:27 AM) Kindly also PM me price and pix if u have any. Btw those brake pedals u posted earlier, u selling them as well? Not selling them yet, currently they are stored in my in-laws place. The tyre shop wrapped them up nicely for me so it will still be brand new. Wait until I send my car in for the 1st service which will be in less than 2 weeks time. If you want the brake pedals, I can pass you the contact who brings them in.

QUOTE(btfan @ Nov 10 2010, 10:05 PM) Just curious though, do you install by swapping the pedals or by sticking on top of the existing pedal and screw it in? If I am not mistaken, the accelerator pedal will have to be replaced as the parts in the picture shows the entire accelerator pedal. So it's not a simple stick on.
