It think what change is that for future expansions or anything exclusive that might be considered big or exciting will require people to pay for it. In the original alpha agreement they stated that any expansions or major updates will be free of charge, but after that, not only will you pay more for the game, you will have to cough up extra for future major expansions in order to fully enjoy minecraft in the future. The way i see it, minecraft itself is already addictive. Now they are just bouncing around ideas to better the game itself. Im waiting for them to introduce PHYSICS into the game. Once that is in its gona CHAOS!!

It would be weird and sometimes defeat the purpose of Minecraft itself. But hear me out, If you have to power to hold an entire town for ransom with a huge ass mountain built on unstable foundations. Unless every one gives you their daimonds and gold you will bury the entire town with a rain of blocks and destroy everyhing there.

Honestly i would play any mod. The game is already addictive, what we need is a freebuild server where everyone does their stuff. It may cause raging and complaining, but if that was the case WOW would not be this famous. LOL
