Kotaku reader and Minecraft player Roman DeNu delivers a retro gaming Christmas present, completely recreating the over world from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past with the building blocks Notch provided. Who wants a video walkthrough?
This is an excellent example of what folks with too much free time and a deep love of classics Nintendo gaming can accomplish in Minecraft. Roman spent 108 hours and 59 minutes (he counted!) building this 512 by 512 by 104 block masterpiece, and he has plans to continue the project with a complete reproduction of the Dark World and all of the buildings, caves, and dungeons from the game.

This is love, ladies and gentleman, and Christmas is all about sharing the love. Thanks, Roman!
Man, I love how the Cartograph genned the map that we currently playing... Makes you "Whoa now that is what we get when we spent timeless on one map"
I saw a Cart Map of 15mb png files consisting of very huge map the player walked. I can never leave my desert to go further as I will be home sick easily...
LYN needs a stable local SMP server. Anyone finds a good M'sia VPN ? BolehVPN good?
lol.. local VPS is really expensive, and not worth investing since even my server has practically nobody playing. I'm willing to fork out RM 100/mth just for this game hosting which does not even have 512 MB of RAM locally. Forget it, just play offshore, and hope that someone has the money to buy an Asian server.
I'll be closing my server once the billing ends. It was just meant for me to see how hosting Minecraft is done with Hey0's mod .
Zepx, add WorldEdit mod into your server and I'll help you to build your town.
lol.. I don't think so, the player base from Malaysia is just too little, and I've no intention to host the game on international level since I don't really have that much of time.
The server has been officially closed. Thanks to those who played.
