I read about that one but havent tried yet.
How does it compares to Dwarf Fortress bobohead? (I can't see youtube videos since I am in China) The concepts sounded similar to me when I first read it but like I said I have not checked this one deeply (I am still fooling around with DF, volcano + retracting bridges = lolsieges really) This post has been edited by Gormaz: Aug 7 2010, 11:07 PM |

QUOTE(Gormaz @ Aug 7 2010, 11:06 PM) I read about that one but havent tried yet. Imagine Dwarf Fortress Adventurer mode, but in 3D and in first person. How does it compares to Dwarf Fortress bobohead? (I can't see youtube videos since I am in China) The concepts sounded similar to me when I first read it but like I said I have not checked this one deeply (I am still fooling around with DF, volcano + retracting bridges = lolsieges really) You start with nothing, and craft everything from utilities to armor to furnitures from the ground up. Rare ingredients (diamonds, Redstone) are available deep in dungeons, where monsters and lava are common (about 5-10 blocks above lava) You also can customize your avatar, with HATS. Example: Me (Isaac Clarke) ![]() Bobo (TF2 Soldier) ![]() Notch (MC creator) start developing the game after he tried Infiniminer. This post has been edited by Sewerspeakers: Aug 8 2010, 12:02 AM |

HATS!? Ok, I am sold!
Hum, I only fooled once or twice with DF adventure mode (I am more of a fortress mode freak) but guess I should give a try to this one when I get around paying 10usd. And I think after DF's interface and graphics, I am ready for anything This post has been edited by Gormaz: Aug 8 2010, 12:12 AM |

QUOTE(Gormaz @ Aug 8 2010, 12:08 AM) HATS!? Ok, I am sold! Play in peaceful mode, find stuff to create your building/fort, and then change difficulty to spawn enemies at night.Hum, I only fooled once or twice with DF adventure mode (I am more of a fortress mode freak) but guess I should give a try to this one when I get around paying 10usd. And I think after DF's interface and graphics, I am ready for anything Then imagine doing that with other players. (Barebones/Playable version of MP was released on Tuesday, features not complete yet) Go here if you want to make skin for your avatar. Its easy to use, and has realtime update, very easy to make skins. |

I dont think I can play this game, I get dizzy from just looking at the video... The graphic is interesting, but only in secreenshot, not when you have to move around.

Theres a free feature on the site which offers little but still legoish gameplayQUOTE(Yue @ Aug 8 2010, 08:32 AM) Somewhat of a lego with few other gameplaysAlso main selling point of minecraft is this Random |

That is why MineKrafters shouldn't play with fire.
I learnt my lesson when I was testing the flint on a tree, and then machine gun fire happened. For people who still use vanilla graphics and wants something better, go here, it even has a customizer so you can choose what you want/don't want. |

I got this game recently and it's great! Who knew building houses from scratch and exploring caves that go deep into the earth while constantly trying to survive zombie attacks could be this much fun.

The best is when you get lost in the underground caves because you want to dig deep ...

Sigh... I'm weak when it comes to resisting such games. If it wasn't for Second Life's monthly fees, I would have been stuck inside, trying my hands on creating all sorts of stuff.
So how much do you guys pay for this game? €9.95? |
