But hell, in gundam universe it's called Hyper Hammer because it does look like a hammer in athletics, just with spikes.

The Gundam ver2.0's hammer is awesome, but too bad it's not easy to pose without a stand.

The Unicorn Mechanical Archive is awesome... some additional stuff that weren't showcased in the previous Gundam Ace linearts were included this time, including various rifles compatible with Delta Plus, Unicorn's magnum mechanism, Sinanju's rocket bazooka, and FA Unicorn's various mix 'n' match parts.

Too bad they are all in Japanese.

Not a good deal, not when Sinanju is coming out in October and then Gouf Custom in November.

Lots of similar parts with the F2 but that is expected. I've a feeling that the left shoulder joint won't be able to sustain the weight of the gatling, unless they come with super tight ABS parts like the GP02.

Hell we're going pokkai in the next few months.

HGUC EZ8 seems likely as we've already gotten the Ground type and now Gouf Custom; it'd be weird not to release the protagonist suit to complete the collection.

Then again it's Bandai we're talking about. Sometimes we just don't know how they plan their releases - HGUC ZZ was only released many years after the other ZZ suits were rolled out (early HGUC years); there's still no sign of Nightingale to partner the HiNu; the Xeku Eins which most people don't know got released; 0083 lacks a GM Custom; 0080 lacks the GM II sniper etc.

If only the Gouf Custom could spark a release of the Flight Type in HGUC form.... Look at those legs... the extra thrusters... the turbofans.... AWESOME.

For 5000 yen... You're better off buying 2 HGUC Sinanjus.

RDs are like the old MSIAs (actually they are) - expensive, small, not as well manufactured, and most importantly you lose out on the most fun part of gunpla i.e. the process of assembling the kit. The good thing about them is they often have better articulation, plus the usage of softer material makes them less fragile.

Planning to paint it yellow instead of gold anyway, follow the original design .
Not easy to mix nice gold... ready made gold paint or markers will turn dull in no time; and gold is only nice if the red is gloss injection.


And come on Bandai...

Be patient. The transforming mechanism of the tiny Victory came to fruition, there's no reason why they can't do it with V2.... just a matter of time.
Most likely will be similar to V where you have the plain vanilla version and later come out with Assault and Buster addons.

As for Nightingale... it was never animated hence not many people know about its existence. Plus it looks like a space bettle which doesn't suit everybody's taste - note that the Neul Ziel which was much more awesome than the Orchis didn't get as much love as the heroic gundam suit.

Once you start building again, the shiokness will come back.
Happened to me for the past year where I didn't feel like building/buying anything.... then kickstarted passion again with a simple Zgok.

One of the complaints from other forums is that the front part of the scythe handle is actually hollow. Not a huge issue for me to be honest, then again I ain't ever gonna get the ver Ka Deathscythe. Okawara's beam scythe looks much better with movable pistons and retractable handles.

As for PG SF stand... it really does look meh at this stage but nothing's been confirmed.
I still think paying close to 1000 ringgit for kit is absurd... 1000 ringgit is enough to build an MG sqaudron. But hey it ain't my money.

Berga Giros and Dalas are the commander suits of the Xbone Vanguard army.

The normal grunt suits that look like JinRoh units have even funkier names such as Denan Zon (shown above), Denan Gei (as shown below)...
Watch F91 and see how they pwn the outdated Jegans with absolute ease... Doesn't even need beam spamming, good old shot lancer is just as deadly.


Xbone vanguard is awesome.... if they come out in HGUC I'll buy them. But at 14-15m they'll be tiny in 1/144 form.

Erm... the Xbone vanguard units are have dual eyes instead of monoeye

Colouring is optional
The Zaku 2.0 is good enough on its own, it doesn't even need much panel-lining. The only areas that you may consider touching up would be 1) red for the monoeye instead of applying the pink sticker 2) the little circular dots on the armour that look like bolts - paint them silver 3) thrusters - paint the insides yellow for the igniting look.

RG Zaku... meh... still can't beat the MG 2.0.
Wait for the HGUC Gouf Custom my friends.

Let me guess.... Gouf Custom + GM Custom.

Some quick (and hopelessly biased ) comments:

HGUC Gouf Custom : Must buy !! Badass sword will need shits loads of silver paint though... so does the gatling ammo belt.

HGUC GM Custom : BURNINGGGGG TAI-IIIIIIIII !!!! Looking forward to HGUC GM Cannon II to complete the 0083 EFSF team... vakuz $$$$

HGFC Nobel : Meh. Interesting beam ribbon though. More expensive than the GM Custom... you're kidding me.

HGAW X-divider : Meh... no satellite cannon = not cool. DX please.

RG Zaku : Only for those who can't afford / hardcore 1/144 collectors. Again, you're better off with a proper 2.0 MG.

1/48 Zaku : UGH. Badly made... just look at the legs... unpainted thrusters... crappy feet joints.

MG 00Q : Well built and intricately detailed despite the simple, uninspiring lineart. Not getting my cash though.

MG Wing series : enough with the ver Kas... either come out with the MG Tallgeese, or stick with ver Okawara please. The other Katoki gundams are all HG1/100s... just look at the old school elbows.

MG DHC is a no-brainer... saw that coming from mile. Who the heck would buy the normal Katoki Deathscythe now? Prototype wings look damn cacated for now, but it's only a prototype.

MG Rezel : like the MG DHC... who the heck will buy grunt version now? Of course get commander version mah... bigass cannon FTW.

PG SF : FAIL. Wings are not evenly spread in a seraphic manner like the SF is supposed to be. Proportions are kinda off as well. For RM900 you could buy an army of MG Strike Freedoms.

Other 00 kits : Don't care.

HG Gunpla Builders : Paedobearguy looks cute... Super Zaku Custom is a mess but f***in' cool poleaxe. Others meh.

My god... the amount of painting needed for the Sinanju bust stand...

^ The Gouf Custom is likely to use parts similar to the more recent F2 Zaku rather than the ancient HGUC Gouf. Note the curved torso, tiny head and monoeye, and swivelling shoulder joints.

I've a feeling that the shoulder and elbow joints won't be able to support the weight of the gatling.

So now we know what kits are there for the rest of the year and early 2011... apart from the Xmas MG which has often been Katoki kits for the past few years.

And then Tallgeese I, II, III + Epyon.
MG Epyon would be a seller, while Tallgeese can be a marketing gimmick - bundle conversion parts to build all 3 versions in one box and charge us 5000yen. Oops, shouldn't give Bandai ideas; I'm happy with just MG Tallgeese I.

Hard to say... Katoki's fame sells.
Maybe they will speed up the MG DHC and cannibalise the MG Deathscythe. Or MG V2 out of the blue... now those two would mean ka-ching for Bandai during Xmas.

I'm lazy and poor.

And most importantly I can't wait for the bundled version so I'm making up excuses for the bust stand

Awesome clippers... got Ryubi's original red and blue swords too... before they decided to chuck away the red one and focus on the golden 龙帝剑 instead in the Shin Sangoku series.
