wait, why do people spend thousands of RM on a widescreen TV but refuse to spend rm20 per month for HD... I dun get it. You say for BD? so you spend $ on BD player AND BD discs but refuse to spend that rm20 per month? BD players cost 2 years of byond service or more... and BD discs are more than that. So ... it's not the money

to make matters worse, SD channels are crap on large widescreen TVs and the only upside to Astro on large TVs is byond.

If Astro give more family package channels on HD then number of subscribers will increase.

Right now, the family package HD are actually not so attractive.

If they have TVB dramas on HD and not inside dynasty package, people don't mind paying extra rm 20.

Cause Byond's SD Picture quality is crappier than normal astro on Widescreen TV..

After I change to byond, I no mood to watch TV anymore cause of the crappy SD quality...

Not always true, it depends on the TV brand and size. Astro SD is quite watchable on Pana and Sharp 42 inch TVs that I have seen, and actually looks quite nice on my 32 inch LG LCD...

Not always true Astro SD sucks on most LCD's pls lets not blame the TV's! See the complains abt astro arena on FB ! Until today astro has not come out with a stmt to deny this but talking ....! drool.gif The point is abt a standard LCD these days which is mostly 42 and above not those less then 30.which obviiuosly wld hide blunders !

Just saw Asian Games CM. Apparently, it's same channel as Commenwealth Games last time too.

I noticed some channel like RIA, WAH LAI TOI, RTM 1, RTM2, HBO, AFC, their PQ was quiet nice on my Panny 37" LCD

What is CM ? Which channel ? ch 830 is not activated.
