Yes. If got DVB-T tuner, TV-Al Hijrah is broadcast under Ultra High Frequency (UHF). In the Klang Valley, the UHF channel is 55 (743.25MHz), Terengganu 41 (631.25MHz), Johor 40 (623.25MHz), and Sabah and Sarawak 37 (599.25MHz).

if new subscriber, how much i must pay for the initial installation / activation? is it true i need to apply for the normal astro 1st than i can apply for b.yond right? when the time comes, how much do i need to pay for the b.yond conversion?

if I'm not mistaken, new subscriber will be given old decoder which is from the users who have upgraded to byond....
you can opt for byond right away

From wat I see on thier website there is nothing great for all Malaysians on the whole to look fwrd on Alhijrah. Its a normal Uhf channel more to religious programmes and surely to be on Astro due to its Political backup.There is nothing to confirm its HD by the way. hmm.gif In other words its more twrds religious promotion.

New subscriber will be given B.yond set top box, and present normal box subscriber will be given B.yond boxes. In fact Astro is calling subscriber to change free of charge. No more swapping of smart cards.

Al Tijarah TV surely will be placed on Family package....
And I don't think this channel will be in HD... probably their equipment was on HD... but their transmit their program still on SD...
And using analogue transmission for teresterial and digital for Astro...

It's Al-Hijrah TV lah. laugh.gif Also, maybe it'll broadcast on both analog & digital. Is it using MPEG4 or MPEG2? unsure.gif
