QUOTE(ReWeR @ Aug 25 2010, 05:07 PM) my point is reapers are conditional and need good skill player. if it is that good, all Terran players sure produce reapers most the game already. and also bust the walls with banelings.. as a Zerg player, I'm not scare of other races during early game, except another Zerg player. Want to swarm me with tier 1 units? Let's see my zerglings better or your marines/zealots better. Want to go for reapers? then your base is quite open and I might tech to hydra waiting for you, or I even do a 10 pool rush. My opponent need to gather quite some gas b4 reapers can come out ... unless he's a very good defense player, else my speedlings already swarm to his base and surround his barrack. |

Hi experts,
For ZvP, Should we put our Overlords scattered around the map or we put them most on our base? Because those early phoenix rush is annoying.. |

QUOTE(ericpires @ Sep 10 2010, 10:46 PM) Having some trouble after my zergling rush doesnt work, go roaches doesnt work.... problem in mid-game which i have no idea what strat or units to build!!! baneling bust is the most effective cheese for a beginner zerg player.Trust me, it really works especially vs Terran.. |

QUOTE(mad_geist @ Sep 20 2010, 06:44 PM) hrmm I dont know.. I'm still trying to push the boundaries of how fast I can nydus in.. I have to check back my replay but.. maybe in 10min game time? I tried to go pool->Roaches->Lair->Nydus as fast as I can.. as time progress, opponent have more view of their main base and nydus are harder to pop without them knowing it.. nydus is super-useful..Last nite I did finish a game in around 11min (gametime) after my nydus pop behind this Terran's base, mowed his small defending forces (siege tank out of position is easy to kill my other attempt at doing this strategy against another zerg backfired.. because he went Muta and my Roach army got creamed.. althou after watching the replay, I might had a better chance if I just send my Roach over rather then trying to Nydus it in.. since Zerg cant really do a wall off anyway right Another way that i've been thinking is.. using Muta tu give sight and hold the "beach head" as I would like to think it.. so maybe the Muta can defend the Nydus while its poping.. and my roaches will try to finish the base.. but.. that will need longer time to setup thou a super suprise attack |

Hi experts,
Any good tips on early scouting againts T and P? As usual, we can spy them at 10 supply using drones, but that's too early to know vital information.. and after that, they already walled the base. 2nd phase I will sacrifice my Overlord. But usually it will die half way from marines or stalkers before i get the speed upgrade.. If wait until overseer completed, and use changeling, i think it's quite late. Most probably they maybe have completed few of their banshees and rush to my base. So, guys, tips on scouting pls? |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 21 2010, 12:56 PM) scout for gas to see if theres early reaper, or for toss, 2 gate pressure to hinder FEs yeah, for reaper rush and zealot rush, at 10 supply we can detect, but air rush attack for me is vital too.theres never "too early to know vital information". its only yourself in how you determine what information you receive Don wanna waste resource to do air defense if no air threats. |

Zerg can switch tech easily..
If u scout and ur opponent is doing mass zealots or mass helions.. u can just do 1 building of spire, and ur 2 or 3 hatcheries can mass produce mutas.. Thats y it is so damn advantage if u hv the scouting skills.. which i'm not good at it.. |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Sep 21 2010, 04:28 PM) One thing I learned from dimaga's video, prepare to sac an OL when you upgrade to lair, I find that I always find important findings with this but the benefit comes when speed upgrade completed.if no speed upgrade, OL will die half way by the marines.. and u wont be able to see their starport.. |

QUOTE(cusx @ Sep 23 2010, 09:34 PM) hi all, depends on the opponent..what is the best opening you think ? 14 Gas 14 Pool ? or 14 Gas 15 Hatch ? etc. I've been facing problems recently VS'ing mass marauders. if they are turtling, u may opt for 15 hatch.. it's quite safe if the opponent is terran.. But if toss or zerg, early expansion is quite risky.. |

QUOTE(noob4life @ Sep 28 2010, 01:40 AM) Ok so i have this problem .... if u play with top ranked players, the baneling bust tactic is considered obsolete. Learn to play defensive and control the map but at the same time keep harrassing with lings and mutas..1.) baneling bust fails due to good positioning of enemy units / wall 2.) Steamrolled right after that phail bust. How to prevent (2.) from happening... lol... |
