not a good idea as his drones would be able to stop ur cannon rushes wit bigger surround since its much easier to be scouted as well...
wut more with a 13pool (14hatch) into lings, it'll jz kill ur probe...

the FE build is usually 3 gate with zealot and stalkers (occasional sentry if needed) off 1 gas...
when u drop ur nexus is depending on wut u scouted...
i always drop after the 2nd gate...
try watching day9daily 199 where huk did it...

tat's 4 gate all-in which is wrong (husky's version in fact)...
u would usually die before that vs terrans most of the time or any other aggressive player regardless of race...
even the 3gate fast warptech (chrono) is better than that build...

try to adjust the number of gates according to wut u scouted...
at times u might even use the double stalker opening into 4gate...
4gate is more like a transition to midgame over an opening...

knowing day9, if u do that u would have access mineral which is a no-no for him...
gate -> core -> zealot -> stalker + warp -> 1st gate when u reach 150 excess (repeat this till the 4th gate)...

to handle 4 gate easily (if u scouted)
- zerg: spines
- terran: bunker + repair
- toss: FF

i kinda dislik 4gate that much now due to this...
there are games where u can win with it but its a coin flip hoping its nt scouted or ur opponent tech up...

i kinda prefer the FE builds nw: -
- vs terran: 1-2 gate FE
- vs zerg: forge FE (wit the option to go cannon contain etc)
- vs toss: gate forge FE

yup...
roaches are killing toss in GSL it is sad =(

well try to the 15nexus build (even tester is seen doing it now) for PvZ...
jz be prepare to def ur ass off...
known when to stop probe production and use the chrono from both nexus well between probes and ur army...

u can either go 15nexus or 15forge -> 15nexus...
its a simcity and u gotta make ur chrono really well =p

VR is horrible in 1v1 nw on its own...
sigh i missed self charging my VR on my pylon then shoot my own units to keep the charge up...
nt even bothered wit VR now unless u can get some stalkers to cover it vs marine (inca game3 is win)...

generally i prefer colossus -> HTs transition (ie colossus b4 HTs)

Warp prism to his mineral line and cause havoc and then send my army up his ramp.
Or Quazaolt's replay, snipe his tanks with colossi and observers.

Scrubie's answer works really well too cause your opponent could be massing up banshees and Phoenix would be awesome.

nothing wrong wit stalker opening as it usually fairly safe if u micro the stalkers...

when playing vs random, scout after ur first pylon and sim city ur ramp (wall off when u see 6pool)...

forget the sentry...
better to go pure stalkers or zealot stalkers...
i prefer pure stalkers as u can kite a little (much more when u are the offensive ones and force larvae into lings/ spine)

btw something i discovered yesterday, halucinated zealot cant charge anymore...
was doing day9's 1 unit mass sentry and even wit charge tech they cant charge now =(

great, a non-toss main race user send u a replay and it gets nerfed...
might as well send replays on how roaches are roflstomping now and get them nerfed...

A. A Korean progamer, who played a Protoss although his main race isn't Protoss, sent us a replay showing a weakness of opponents in a certain specific period of time when a Protoss is using a Void Ray. Through the replay, we gave Void Ray the change that it received.

why are zealot nerfed?
cause silver leaguers cant handle proxy zeal and now high lvl toss suffer from their early pressure

A. We take teamplay seriously as well as 1v1. Recent 1.1.2 patch changed Reapers. While Reapers had no problem in 1:1, if you look at the top of the 2:2 team ranks, almost half of them are Terran+Zerg, and they all use Reaperling. This problem is same in NA as well as in Korea. This means that you can't succeed all that well in teamplay unless you play a Terran+Zerg combination, so we try to fix it if the problem is as big as that. If not, then we try to balance around 1:1.
Also, forward proxy gate Zealot rush was popular for a bit after release. This didn't get much use among the top players, but it was near impossible to stop at silver-level play. So we pondered how to fix this balance issue without affecting top players, and in the end, we decided to increase the time required to build Zealots to get it balanced.
