QUOTE(victor2212 @ Sep 24 2010, 04:27 PM) umm, haha, any bad reviews about it? because after about 15 minutes of fiddling the G500 mouse, i find that it's not so suitable because i need to rest my palm on it instead of resting my fingers on the buttons, if you get what i mean, hehe |

Guys, really confuse, building my first gaming rig..
So considering a "good" gaming keyboard.. Defining good maybe different from one to another, but i think for me: Price of 150-250 ( could hover more or lesser the better) Quality - could withstand more than the test of time Warranty - easier to warranty and covered more than just years Light - the illumination back light is needed for me Feel - it feels like typing on a real keyboard with a tilt function and doesn't feel like typing onto a laptop keyboard.. Other preferences could be discussed but not my top priority. It seems i'm in a quest searching for my first best-bang-of-the-buck gaming kb. Many thanks to the sifus in advanced for their time |

The Razer BlackWidow Expert would be good for those looking for a mechanical keyboard yet on a tight budget. Quite good pricing from Razer in my opinion.

With some of the points he gave, I think he would prefer a mechanical keyboard.
However, if the illumination is important, then have to get the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Elite version which will cost pretty much more. |

Thanks for the fast reply guys(sifu)..
So heres my list now: microsoft x6 (i think i tried this before, it doesnt have that tilt function?) Razer Blackwidow Expert ( No back-light.. hmm ) Logitech Illuminated kb ? (emm is this referring to any model such as G11 or G15?) Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Elite (ermmm, i think this is "koyak" my budget ?) Actually i have never tested any "mechanical" KB before.. is the feel that really significant? I just dont want that feel of the laptop built in keyboard, i really dislike that kinda of feel lol. Do you guys know roughly the pricing for those above? But i still could google them later.. Any other suggestions would be appreciated sifus.. thanks This post has been edited by stanley86: Sep 24 2010, 10:31 PM |

Any other suggestions would be appreciated sifus.. thanks Razer BlackWidow 'Ultimate Elite' - Mech. Keyboard w/ Blue Backlight Keys @ RM370 Razer BlackWidow 'Expert' - Mechanical Keyboard @ RM285 taking from yongkailoon sales XD. standard blackwidow fits your budjet , but lack backlights and microphone ,usb and audio jack on keyboard. Logitech illuminated keyboard is not a gaming keyboard you will never feel mechanical keys on laptop, i guarantee , laptop use sicciors switch. look into logitech g110 and sidewinder x4 also. Mechanical keyboards are said to last longer. Since you wanted a more durable and longer lasting keyboard, I think should really consider a mechanical keyboard.
