Well, mechanical keyboards last longer as many would say but at the cost of an attractive look. At the end of the day, it is down to each individual's personal preference. smile.gif

Although it is mostly down to individual preference, some people can be easily influenced by what others say and also reviews (although usually accurate, certain comments might not be applicable to certain users).

A lot of decent mice come with thumb rests.

The only way I seen people damage the PS/2 jack is forcibly sticking it into the port at a wrong angle.
*
Those who handle it roughly will definitely damage it too. Can't they just be a little more gentle? doh.gif

if only logitech made mechanical keyboards haha.

While mechanical keyboards practically is better quality but design will be sacrificed most of the time, I guess Logitech wants to capture those who wants to stand out from the rest with attention grabbing designs. laugh.gif

If demands isn't great, having an attractive keyboard is already good enough. For example, a keyboard to match the computer's modification/theme. biggrin.gif

zz..performance more important than outlook la

Talking about those who couldn't care less about performance, that's where non-mechanical keyboards would suit them if they would like to match it with their computer etc.

My Logitech G110 also the same, if I'm not mistaken it's quite common. Not easy to find a perfect unit.

It'll take a car to run over it to break a mechanical key. I rage smashed my 6Gv2 in my review and it's still working fine.

Nice, should have a video evidence to prove its toughness. thumbup.gif

is G110 nice??
newb here

I'm a current G110 user and to me, I feel it's fine but with so many other gaming keyboards around especially with upcoming new models, I think G110 is going to lose out very soon if the pricing for it remains.

Usually products don't drop price when there's a new model, not unless that product is already hot selling. In G110's case, don't think so it's hot selling. laugh.gif

Yea, a whopping price tag for the first mechanical gaming keyboard will definitely turn down many interests. sweat.gif

Not too bad, currently using a G110 myself and quite nice, just that it isn't a mechanical keyboard and the illumination seems uneven for most users. sweat.gif

If it's their higher end keyboard usually the model is displayed on the surface of the keyboard. Otherwise, maybe try looking underneath.

If illumination is not a concern, why not just consider the Razer BlackWidow Expert version instead?

The Razer BlackWidow Expert would be good for those looking for a mechanical keyboard yet on a tight budget. Quite good pricing from Razer in my opinion. biggrin.gif
