Bro, that budget can only get you a low range Logitech keyboard at best. USB can only get you a maximum of 6 key roll overs. Unless you have an adapter that converts from USB to PS/2, PS/2 is NKRO (No key roll over) and it does not have a limited to number of key presses. But there are a few keyboards that has NKRO over USB, but it does not come cheap. For instance, Ducky 9008G2, full NKRO over USB.

I would recommend if you add a little more to your budget, at least you can get decent boards like Microsoft Sidewinder X4 or Logitech g110.

Just stumbled upon brand "MicroKingdom' gaming keyboard, cheap & look nice so thinking of getting one, should I?

Also I see another brand, 'Armageddon', anyone with experience can comment?

hi guys!

im not sure am i posting in a right thread but i hope so...

i am currently using my laptop for gaming and due to the heat issue (my left palm area of the laptop is heaty after few hours of intense graphic gaming) and not so comfortable built in keyboard, im looking for these solution,

1) Razer Nostromo
2) Logitech G13

i have done survey around and found out that Razer Nostromo fits comfortably than Logitech G13 while Logitech G13 built quality is much better than Razer Nostromo (some user complain of Razer Nostromo dont stay still properly and it will tilt)

I will be using these to play games such as Dota 2 and some FPS games.

Hope some user might share some experience!

Many thanks and have a nice day!

maybe you'd wanna try the Razer Orbweaver instead? the 2 products you mentioned aren't exactly new.. but why not get a full gaming keyboard instead?

im interested in Orbweaver too but afraid that it might be overbudget. its 129.90usd so not sure how much will it be in malaysia.

i want to get gamepad because im using laptop so i need portability and dont want full size keyboard for gaming only which is not practical for me and too space consuming.

Good Point...

well if portability is an issue then the gamepads are probably the wiser choice... I had a feel of both..

liked the Nostromos as it's more comfy.. but as you've said.. it's rather fragile...

the G13 is flat... not really comfy but very robust... plus Logitech have a very nice app for their peripherals

Yes, it's not so suitable to use a full size keyboard as you using a lappy.
If you considering between Orbweaver and G13, I will strongly recommend you wait for Orbweaver.
Anyway, you need wait for some feedback and review for it first.

The reason I said so,
Orbweaver might be expensive but if you consider it as a mechanical keyboard, the price is understandable (some how is a razer product, you will pay for the brand as well)
Another side about G13, I did own 1 before and I sold it away after 1 month usage. The layout is not so good based on my preference, the key caps are quite slippery (the killing 1) and the display basically useless.

Anyway, that's just from my perspective.

No matter in EM or WM, as there are much variety of choices in LYN, you won't bother to visit any physical shop.
