well, it's new stuff in malaysia too, i think local distro has them like 2~3 weeks ago. and needed time to distribute to local store.

Corsair product started distributed to around the world at December 1st, so by the end of the month, i think Corsair recent gaming product will able to purchase in majority country.

Hmm... if it's not broken, why don't you keep using it? after he broke, then you can spend buy a better keyboard later.

for RM100 below gaming keyboard, i think you can try to surf for logitech website and look for their keyboard model. i think it's good enough for budget user daily usage.

It should be USB(most) keyboards cant do that. Older PS/2 keyboard with "diode" inside can do the trick.
USB is naturally limited to maximum of 6 keys(can be worse, such as Razer BW, 2 for some case).

To be safe, go for mechanical keyboard with(or support) PS/2 connection. Though, the cheapest will also cost over RM150.

i always tot ps2 is an old connector and serve no purpose if usb is available

i don't think so, older keyboard still have limitations, my old Acer keyboard which is Acer switch(Alps Copy) still has limitation of 3 key press in PS/2 Connection.

Hmm.. RM150, Alps switch from Ducky? not sure about that since never heard of people using that in club.

USB has drivers which incharge of the signal send by keyboard keystroke.

PS/2 does not need any drivers, and Signal send by keyboard keystroke are instantly detected without any driver interference, because it's based on hardware.

In other words, keyboard with diodes inside with ps/2 connection got a high chance to had NKRO(mean all keys can be registered).

For the same keyboard if connected using USB port, the most it will get is only 6KRO(6keys).

Of course for those boar with no diodes, be it ps/2 or USB, it won't go far till over 10KRO.

Many modern Mechanical Keyboard(year 2010-2011) however is using a new way(mostly multiple controller or some other ways) which allow over 18KRO over USB port, which is quite a remarkable break through. However, many of them do suffer from certain problems, especially compatibility with other OS such as linux/Mac.

P/S: Microsoft X4, a membrane keyboard also able to achieve over 18KRO under USB port.

what are the element do you require per your term?
if you need back lid, currently you have only have two choices : DUCKY SHINE or RAZER BLACKWIDOW
if back lid is not necessary, then you have filco, ducky, leopold (as per avail at local one)

Guys, looking for a decent membrane keyboard but budget really low (less than 80/100?) because need to replace this old RM29 microsoft keyboard, the printing faded and too soft.

I don't need a gaming keyboard, just a decent one which have good tactile response (of course mechanical kb is the best but really poor now...). Any brand is okay. Thanks!
