the G510 is ok, a bit longer than usual Kb out there cause of the macro keys good backlit, lots of colors, and software is very user friendly wink.gif

but the media buttons are a bit laggy when playing movies.. fine for music though wink.gif

if ur only looking for backlit maybe the new Logitech G105 can suit u.. this one also has macros but less compared to the G510

the Sidewinder x4 is a great kb for its price definitely much cheaper than of the G510... as to be expected considering that its quite an old model, less macro keys and backlight is in red only

if ur an MMO / RPG player the g510 should suit u well but if ur more to FPS then the x4 will be just fine imho wink.gif

if you're plaaning to buy G510, just get BW instead. Worth spending that huge sum on a mech kb, not a membrane kb smile.gif

Thanks for your feedback. I did some googeling and found out alot of reviews that are not really good for the g510. Some says problem with the backlid and etc. Any comments on that?

well can't say that the G510 is perfect, like I said it does have some issues with my media buttons but I have no problem with the backlit lighting... oh I do hate the restart everytime a headphone jack is plugged in and out though lolx... other than that its all fine for me wink.gif

Whats ur usage anyways??

oh.. ok! but i heard problems about BW too and it's a bit over price don't you think? My usage would be mostly in battlefield 3 for now but I do play some RPG games occasionally.

BW is one of the cheapest range in mechanical keyboard that is using cherry mx blue switch. Yes it is clicky but very nice to type. Plus with the good design and macro included, it would be a pretty good buy imho smile.gif

either you take a reliable one and sacrifice the backlight wants, or the other way round. So uhh...which one?

Btw, if you do noticed, he asked for "most reliable backlighted keyboard"
For Range of RM200 to RM300, there's only backlighted membrane keyboard. Mechanical keyboard with backlight will not be in RM200~RM300 price range.

Only Razer Blackwidow Ultimate has Backlight.

RAZER BLACK WIDOW EXPERT MECHANICAL GAMING KEYBOARD : RM 299 - Ready Stocks
RAZER BLACK WIDOW ULTIMATE (ILLUMINATED) MECHANICAL GAMING KEYBOARD : RM 389 - Ready Stocks

Quoted from Moderno

Anyway, back to MikeLeo,
Microsoft Sidewinder X4 - below RM200
Logitech G510 - around RM230
Logitech G110 - around RM200

Siderwinder X4 is a quite good. One of the main feature that shines on this keyboard is able to support 10KRO or above, but backlit are limited to red color.
Logitech G510 and Logitech G110, if i remember they do support multiple color on their LED, so you can set them base on your choice.
Logitech G510, do have a LCD screen which could provides you additional information about CPU, and have other features, so you have to research about them.

If you want to know what is KRO, KRO basically means, the ability to detect key press after specific numbers of key is holded.
2KRO means, Maximum of 2 key press can be detected together, Example of A + S. or any other combination, More than 2 key press will not be detected
4KRO means, Maximum of 4 key press can be detected together, Example of A + S + D + F. or any other combination, More than 4 key press will not be detected.
6KRO means, Maximum of 6 key press can be detected together, Example of A + S + D + F + G + H. or any other combination, More than 6 key press will not be detected
