if it's rooted, download this app from the market called ModInstallLocation it'll force apps to install into your ext SD. But some apps does not work, from experience

Try Mod install location instead (they don't stick together)

But I find SDMove safer... It only moves those apps that natively support froyo a2sd to SD card

I removed PDF Viewer and Peep as well, replaced them with Adobe Reader and Twitter

@r47z, the "stock" froyo you flashed, does it have the APN settings?
does it save the APN settings after reboot?

my desire time format seems 2hv delays (2-3mins) ...tho i already set the time accurately according to my watch...& select the appropriate time zon which is GMT+08.00,Malaya time... thnx

no APN. Have to manually input (get it from cyanogen APN list cause those work with both MMS/3G/2G). APNs still there after rebooting at least 10 times.

Should be pretty straightforward as you already installed those Android SDK drivers before while rooting. If you are wondering where to get the adb-windows.exe, I downloaded it here: http://www.multiupload.com/RWIG0RHSHS
