I am also using TTpod. Actually not cumbersome as u think. Let say, just now u said u wan to show lady gaga and justin bieber simultaneously, which in same folder, u may change the song genre to the folder name, then done.
1. select all the song in the folder
2. right click > properties > detail > genres > change to wat u wan, like Blues, nfloder, or wat name u like > then click apply
3. then all the song will be appear same your nokia player > genre > wat name u type

yup. at first abit trouble. but after u edited, there got few benefits :
1. easier for future management
2. easier for u to seek a song
3. eaiser for u to play song in wat mood u having. fo eg: i edited genres into blues, rock, sweet and so on. when i need sad song, i play blues genre. when i need rock song, i play rock genre. when i need happy sing song, i play sweet genre, laugh.gif laugh.gif

@ne0cz: If the sun is really strong and bright and it's right above your head, it might be glaring but you may combat that by putting the LCD brightness to its' highest settings.
For my Mum's X6, it's harder to view under direct sunlight with the brightness at maximum cause I applied the "Matte Screen Protector" which blocks some screen light but gives anti-fingerprint and anti-scratch protection. Not to mention, the phone colors look duller too.

unless you were using N900 or with OLED screen...then you can see under the sun...since X6 "capacitive" comes with a glass layer which attract all reflections..otherwise set your back-light to maximum, but you'll kill your eye at night sad.gif

@ne0cz: I got my "Matte Screen Protector" for free when the phone was purchased.

Added on August 18, 2010, 9:32 pmNot too sure about the PJP whether or not it affects the warranty of the phone.

erm, guys, im having this problem,
the garmin gps installed in my x6 the most of the icon like... wrong spelling.
I checked with my fren 5800... It shud be home but in my phone it shows as hospital @@. Izzit the newest garmin not compatible with x6?

1 more thing is, the battery energy level depleting kinda fast when I activate garmin, 30min around can start see the battery bar drop. izzit normal ?

lastly, when I want to close an application, I press the 'red phone' button at the btm of the phone but I noticed tat, the application actually still running. the 'loading' pic (star) still shows at the application. so its like im clicking the 'show desktop'. Is there anyway I can close 1 application straight n fast? in stead of press back back back quit confirm quit ==

You'd have to use a different version of Garmin Mobile XT.
Make sure that you follow the appropriate steps in "signing" the app.
I've heard of this problem when running Garmin Mobile XT that hasn't been signed properly, however, I can't really remember the steps to fix it.

Yes, the battery level will deplete quickly when you're running I-GPS.

You shouldn't press the red button to close running apps because the app doesn't fully close. It's better to "Exit" the app through the "Options" at the bottom left.

Also, you may periodically check for your currently running apps by pressing and holding the "Menu-button" at the middle of your phone and press and hold on the running app and exit it. Another method is by using HandyTaskman.

Just my 2 cents.
