@ping0613: It's not mine. I bought for my Mum at RM1100 at Sungai Wang. It's a Zitron/Navigation-package.

@ping0613: Yeap. I actually went to a few shops at Sungai Wang and they all gave around (RM1100~1180) that price too. I wanted to buy the Nokia 5800 for my Mum but realized it was resistive touchscreen but she prefers capacitive (easier and more precise to control). However, I realized it doesn't have "Multi-Touch" which is quite a let down compared to the iPhone/iPod Touch.

@ping0613: Yeap, I have to agree with you on that matter regarding the expensive price of the iPhone.
I'm actually a Mac-hardware user/supporter so I'm using the iPhone 2G. Now I'm waiting for the iPhone 4.
Sorry ya, I'm more of an Apple-fan but I must say that Nokia has done a good job since the last Nokia-Symbian phone that I used (Nokia N70 doh.gif

@piumiu: Regarding the X6 16GB being faster in terms of performance when compared with the X6 32GB might be true because it has a smaller capacity hence faster loading times/indexing times = Faster performance/more responsive.
However, I doubt it has any difference when it comes to the 16GB and 32GB's GPS-capabilities cause both of them are using the same GPS-chipset. Please make sure that both phones are set to the same "navigation/GPS" settings such as A-GPS/Integrated GPS, etc, etc.

@mrfarhatadib89: I'm not sure about the 8GB being the fastest of all. It's just a theory that it should be faster because there's less items to load.

@ping0613: I think that the program will load faster during the second time because it has been saved to RAM already during the first time it was loaded. That's if you don't fully quit the app. Just my guess/opinion.

Btw, is it safe to use the Garmin XT Mobile with V21.00.04?
I read that there's some WSOD (Whitescreen of Death) problems related to FW V21.00.04 with Garmin Mobile XT.

@ping0613: I see, sorry for misunderstanding.
Btw, how come you didn't update our FW? Afraid it'll clash with your GXT?
I think I better wait and see cause it's not my phone. Don't wanna have to do the battery-bypass method to reboot the phone...

@ping0613: Why can't yo update it yourself? I thought through the Software Updater provided with Nokia Ovi Suite? Btw, what's "NCC"?

How come your phone can't update through Nokia Software Updater, I thought all Nokia phones are alike (can be updated through Nokia Software Updater)?

Tried doing a hard reset? Another thing, make sure that your Nokia Software Updater/Nokia Ovi Suite on your PC is updated before updating your X6's FW. You're using the 32GB Music-variant, right? Maybe it's not available for your variant yet?

@hongchai888: Actually, there are some people I know that find 32GB lacking. They fill their 32GB iPhones (not talking about X6) to the brim with music and apps.
If you can manage your files/folders properly, I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem locating your files.

@Codyx: I think you wouldn't wanna "fragment" it (makes it worst, increases search/index times. I think you meant "de-fragment it"?

@Codyx: Thanks for the tip.
Btw, how come the Nokia WH-701 (included earphones in X6 16GB) doesn't work with Mac/iPod? It only works with the phone itself?
I plugged the WH-701 into the X6 and it works perfectly.
However, when I plug the WH-701 into my MacBook/iPod, the sound is muffled or cracks.

Added on August 8, 2010, 8:46 pmI thought the earphone is a standard 3.5mm jack?

@hengguowei: Yeap, I agree that iOS Apps require a lot of memory space.

Thanks all (ping0613, hengguowei and Codyx) for your reply regarding using the WH-701 on the Mac.
Btw ping0613, you must be very lucky because you can use your WH-500 on your PC whereas hengguowei can't use it on his PC.
I am actually using the iPhone-supplied earphones with my MacBook. I just wanted to try the WH-701 (from Nokia) on my Mac.
Honestly speaking, after comparing both earphones (one supplied with iPhone and WH-701 supplied with X6).
The WH-701 has better sound quality when compared with the Apple earphones.
However, the WH-701 is "in-ear" but the Apple earphones are not.

Just now my Mum complained that the slider (to lock/unlock the X6) was slightly loose and also the back/battery cover is slightly loose (about half a mm of freeplay when you press the back/battery cover).

So, I thought of replacing the hardware slider's function with something like a "Slide To Unlock" from iPhone.
I read about nUnlock but my question is, can I just use the nUnlock/Slide To Unlock to unlock the phone without using the slider (on the side of the X6)?
My aim is to not use the slider at all. Thanks in advance, your reply is most appreciated.

@ping0613 and Codyx: I'll be getting the nUnlock. It has a pretty nice iPhone-alike "Slide To Unlock" screen. I'm using the *ahem* version. Need to do some "certificate signing" first.

@Codyx & hongchai888: Will find the *ahem* version of Slide Unlock and nUnlock and try them both. Will keep whichever one my Mum prefers. Thanks for the replies.

@hengguowei: Hey mate, thanks for the links but I think you should've PM-ed me. You might get warned/suspension by the moderators IF the links you provided are for cra*ked apps.

Added on August 9, 2010, 8:42 pmBtw, the link that you provided for the nUnlock, may I know what version (5.1?) is it and is it signed?
