mine always freezes no matter how many times i reboot.. lol.. already reinstalled.. patching now.. hope its better this time

Only solution I know is still to reinstall Starcraft 2.
(Notice how many problems we can solve with reinstallation? I'd say shame on you Blizz)

It happened to me in World of Warcraft last time.
One of the patch screwed my game so badly I get an error each time I start the game.
Reinstalling was such a hassle since I needed to patch it back to the most current patch as well after the installation...

my pc been auto shut-down and auto restart all the time whenever i try to play..sumtime jz 5 min into the game and then my pc restart or shutdown..

the situation :
lcd blank but still can hear the background sound
sumtime auto restart
sumtime auto shutdown i nid to re-on the pc myself

im using:
window 7 pirated
gtx460
i7 930
20" lcd

note:
it only happen when i play sc2,other game no problem

game setting:
1600 x 900
i tried ultra,high,custom oso same problem

Hi need to check with you.

Which part does it happen at?
When you start to load a map or does it happen at the login screen itself?
Or is it after you login where you have the single player and multiplayer option.

no it jz randomly restart , reboot, lcd blank..no actuall time

sumtime when i was playing half way,chatting half way or in afk mode then it will randomly restart

sumtime it took like 5min sumtime more than an hour when it happen..

jz now i tried reinstall but same thing happen

could be ur graphic card burning up. the moment you start up sc2 ur graphic card is running ady as the entire menu interface (more like the background, damn BC lol) is already full 3d

my game hang awhile then move again.... before this nvr happen be4..after patch only got this thing happening

Chances are your graphic card is overheating.

You have any software to check your card temperature?

Patch caused it? Think you may have to reinstall at this rate.

to add in to this post, before reinstalling sc2, try doing repair.exe

via: C:\Program Files\StarCraft II\Support\repair.exe (depend on your installation directory/drive)

i try out the msi afterburner..my GC heat is always at 60+ whenever im playing sc2..how much is normal?

60+ celcius shouldnt over heat. i mean, most nvidia cards can withstand 70-90+ without problems. and 100+ is the thermal shutdown for card protection

check if your drivers are updated, and you may want to check PROCESSOR temperature now instead, or motherboard temperature

why i always encounter something like "error, not able to load score screen" at NA server.

is it normal?

connection problem. and no, not normal as i think i only got that once ever. not always.

The computer shutdown thing.
When it shutdowns, does it have a warning alarm sound from your motherboard? I had the same problem with my old PC, where it shutdowns automatically when I play some intensive flash games. My old motherboard was Abit. I checked the health doctor and all the temperature was normal at that time. GPU at 60, CPU at 50 and Motherboard north bridge at 32. Still have yet to figure out the problem. At one point I was suspecting faulty RAM. In the end I just changed my whole PC. Gave up trying to troubleshoot. The PC is still now sitting in my store room.

owh btw when my comp shut down my mobo kip beeping for about 5 sec..and then i nid to press the on button manually T__T

high chance for overheating proc/mobo, please check your temperature before wasting money (unless you got friend or spares) on ram replacement first

after downloaded the latest patch..

i replay my campaign.. always stuck at campaign smash n grab.. can never upload that.. always the game shutdown and send error to battlenet... anyone faced the same problem like mine and managed to resolved it
