using live view? i almost forgot to use that..
coz the lcd view not good on daylight..
maybe suitable for panorama..

1st 2nd prize winners photos really outstanding. Can see the patience put into getting the right shot.

if u wan do impromptu shots.. jsut off live view and shoot like that lo..who knows u might get something catchy

8vtv, other point? the have their use, when using LOCAL AF point, where you can select which point to focus (on older body) is quite easy with d-pad where you no need the AF-lock to recompose the shot.

zstan, dont know. They kept all the hardcopies.

haha i never use Local AF..
normally just use spot and half press the button..
and move the camera left/right & up down much faster to compose..
that's why other AF function become useless to me..

just want to know if got other technique to use other AF..

Local is useful if you know wher to focus ma. rather than composing which take another few second, i use local all the time, but usually up, down, left, right and centre only, those corner rarely use..
