if you had said that, then u'd be wrong, I took this photo using SAL55200..    I was pleasantly surprised to see the result!

if u wan good grip, grab a DSLR.

nex is already design to mimic compact camera, and we all been holding compact way long ago, even if Nex is Flat, i'd buy it too.

Usually Sony hire a lot young leng lui for promoter one. Some events they have kawaii japanese girl promoter too, hehe 

AND if you say the NEX shutter is like machine gun already, wait till you hear those 8-11 "bullets" per second punya "machine guns", you won't call NEX shutter machine gun d.
NEX's continuous shots a bit slow la. Success rate of capturing moving object for a noob photographer like me will be pain in the a*s

im not sure la... but 55200 is a good lens IMO... i havent tried the 18250.. but people tend to favor the 16105 more over the 18250.. so my suggestion would be sell the 1855.. buy 16105... and buy beercan (70-210).. haha... nice set...

i am going to sell my 18-55 and 55-200 and intend to bring in TAMRON 18-200 , do anybody knows the sharpness of tamron is fine? or very bad?

Hi people,

I am newbie in photography, and in midst of planning to get a Sony Nex 5.

My father has an old Minolta camera, and I've managed to dig out his old stuff. I've found two types of lens.

1. Minolta MC Tele Rokkor-PF 1:2.8 f=135mm
2. Minolta MC W.Rokkow-SG 1:3.5 f=28mm

The golden question is;

Am I able to use these lens on the Sony Nex 5? If yes, do I need a third party adapter, where and how can I get them?

Secondly, the MC Tele Rokkor seems to have some fungus or something dirty inside the lens, is it possible to get it fixed?

Last but not least, I hear from my friend that I can purchase Nex 5 cheaper in normal camera shops, is it true? How much cheaper can I get if I am interested in getting the two lens package for the 5?

I'm a newbie in photography, which lens package should I go for? I think RM3k is really expensive, can I survive on the 16mm?
