Following my purchase of the iPhone4 from Maxis center. After using it for 3 days, I noticed a clicking sound whenever I shake the phone. Compared to my friends and colleagues unit, I noticed something loose inside. We tried to remove and put back the sim card but same problem.

Hence, I brought it to Maxis center. Prior to the warranty, I restored the phone to factory setting and found the phone unable to boot because I had already jailbroken it with limera1n. That is the shortcoming of it.

Then I took it over to the Maxis center and blame it on the loose part within. They agreed for a 1 to 1 exchange. It was the Friday before Christmas. They told me needed 10 days for Brightstar to send a replacement unit. Damn!! Replace one unit also take 10 days. The staff there tried to rush for it before Christmas but ask me not to put much hope.

Sure, on the Wed of Christmas week, they called and said the replacement unit is here. I got it, happy and no more sound. New IMEI number, new unit! smile.gif Yay!

Thumbs up for Maxis service!

Not sure this question been asked b4 or not. If there is my apologies. I realise my ip4 rang at only one side which is the right side speaker only when there is an incoming call. That mean my left speaker is faulty? Need to repairs? T_T

Any1 know how much I gonna pay if I terminate my ivalue1 with 24month contract?
I just check my bill right now,I'm only using RM18 (call) for a month, means I'm rugi to Maxis RM8x this month(and I hv 18month contract to go...)so I'm consider to terminate the plan if the terminate fee is not too high.

Anyone terminate his/her contract before?

Hi guys, not sure where to post this but this is related to Maxis plan.

After reading some comments from the other thread on Maxis data plan, it trigger me to check on my Maxis bill. It seem to me that Maxis for some reason has made the calculation complicated which at the end resulted to extra charge. Example, if you subscribe to RM50 plan, my understanding is should your usages is less than RM50 than you should be paying the minimal RM50 + taxes.

My total commitment of 1 principal + 3 supp line is RM190. Since all 4 of us used less than the commitment plan, than I guess the total charge should be RM190 + the taxes (RM9.64). However, through their complicated calculation, my total bill ended up to RM202.34. You might say, its only a few dollar but this has happened for more than a year, and if Maxis get this few dollars from a single customer, imagine in total they get from the rest of their customers.

Anyway, anyone here could explain to me how the calculation goes. I called CS and their answer was "our calculation is correct" but failed to explain how there is a difference there.

(Charges+Usage) - rebate + tax = 237.88 - 45.18 + 9.64 = 202.34

How come there is difference there? I mean it should be only RM190 + RM9.64 (taxes)...

Monthly Charges is RM190 (Line rental).
Line rental is fixed, you need to plus the usage and value added,
and tax also.
If your line still got rebate, then minus the rebate lah.

Not just pay the rental and tax,
