I just spoked with 1 guy in maxis customer service. I was on 12 months Ivalueplan 1 . Then I said I wanna terminate my line right now .. he said that I need to pay RM800. I don't mind paying RM800 just to terminate my line,is anybody experience this ?

yet to own an Iphone4 but thinking to get 1 from maxis.
however, i always have this question in mind, since the monthly bill is rm100, does it usually exceed very much higher than rm100. as i seems to see that some people getting extremely high billing fees (excluding the 1st prorated period)...

you will always exceed 100 because of when you sms to digi number they will calculate extra.

sms to digi bear no extra charges..
unless u sms more than the allocated free sms

can everyone share their maxis bill, let say u take ivalue 1.. 100/mths.. hw much u end up paying?

my bills so far has been ladened with nonsensical extra charges and waivers..
so im more kelam kabut here than anyone else..
and my prepayment rebate is not in there also!

although i like maxis as a provider but their billings really

Plans say the 200 allocated SMS only applicable to Maxis only the 333 mins of calls is to all local telco

now that i've checked it again and it's right!
i remembered exactly the thing i ask the maxis ppl when i say the free sms is to all and they said yes! &*^^@#(*@#^*@&^

man, I know how confusing the billing is... when i subc for value plan with 1 supp line few years ago,
I went to KLCC maxis centre when my 1st bill is out.. I sit there for about n hour with the customer rep just to understand how the billing work.

i just bought an iphone..and i am using hotlink..is the free data 500mb for 1 yaer apllicable for me? or do i need to buy a new iphone then i can get the deal?

their method of handling the bills are really quite odd.... same here... add there... minus there i still need to pay around rm200++

In most case, it will exceed RM100.
333 minutes for call to all telco, but 200 SMS and 20 MMS is only for Maxis-Maxis. So once you SMS/MMS to DiGi, Celcom etc you'll be charge accordingly.
And you must control your data usage, do not exceed the allocated quota (1GB). Once exceed, your bill will probably gone RM250.

Where you buy your iPhone? from Maxis? if is from Maxis they will activate the 500MB for you. If not, you're not eligible.
