I just received an "Apple Store Order Acknowledgment" from Apple, with ship date and deliver date.

Does this confirmed my order?

I also have similar question, the Order Acknowledgement mean order confirm and CC has been charge??

how long from the time you place order til you receive this email??
I received this email less than 15mins after i ordered through Apple Online Store.

That's it? My CC went through and I'm getting my iPhone 4 soon? But when I check online banking, my CC still haven't been charged though, anyone know when do Apple charge the money?


Once I place the order, less than 5 minutes got a call from the bank to verify the transaction, I said yes yes quick faster let the transaction go through! Then around 30 minutes later I got the email

i heard they will only charge the CC when shipment is done.

ya.... they only will charge u once the shipment is done...

last time cc charged me after one week plus i get my phone...

few day ago they charge me after 2 or 3 days after i get my phone...

and normally when u get the acknowledgement its 90% confirm already...

u just wait...

and usually the shipment will come earlier and u will receive ur phone the next day of shipment...

DHL is fast...

then i no need to wait 11days! now is doing shopping for cover and microsim stuff

i guess apple will deliver ur i4 within this week congrats!

hmm mine will be shipped on 1st Oct and deliver on 5th Oct.
Sigh hopefully it will be shipped this week, i cant wait till Oct!

I've just got my order info from my relative and mine ships on the 22nd Sept and delivers on the 24th Sept. Ordered on the 31st Aug. They are really taking their sweet time with my order

My unit is the iPhone 4 32 GB.

appreciate if those that received their phone...how did you bring back to MY? do you need to unpack it so that you wont kena tax for the item?

Just unpack then ok, take it out and start using it.

cannot keep in the package? coz my fren is carrying for me by air...custom stop for tax n sirim?!

Greeting Iphone 4 singapore user ,

Since my friend has already ordered the iphone 4 , shipment will be on the 8th and delivery will be on the 12th .

Do I still need to upgrade the firmware for the existing iphone 4 ?
If I don't want to jailbreak it since the warranty is applicable to it . I still can get free apps and games to download rite ?

Yeah speaking of custom, I would like to know this as well. As I will asking my friend to bring over the iPhone, of course I don't want anyone to open it or touch it first. Can my friend just show the custom the unopened box with seal? If been taxed, how much will it cost?

my Singapore's friend use Singapore bank CC to order, and the bank no call him, I do receive the order acknowledgement email

not necessary bank must call the CC holder to confirm payment right??

not only tax, u may subject to sirim fee (unreg electrical good) that may be quite pricey...
