multisim account is you can have multiple simcard all under one number , but only one main simcard can receive call/sms , others you just can call out/sms/data. The cons is call rate and sms charges are higher than normal account like 30 cent per minutes ,20 cent per sms, each multisim has a charge RM15 per month per sim, does not share any of your value plan, each multisim have to get separate internet data plan and some maybe i left out due this is the first time i use multisim account. All information above is get from the maxis SO.
Personally i dont find this is a good option at all tongue.gif but i dont want to get another new number. Seems like so many cons eh .  doh.gif but for me i dont plan to use another phone to make call/sms , so it does not make any difference to me, since supplementary account also need to get separate data plan, thts why i choose multisim instead of supplementary.
*
i go to maxis center and email them, both maxis people told me multisim call/sms will be separate charges, but data usage will be shared (mean if main sim carry unlimited data usage, multisim no need to pay extra for data usage) something different with yours biggrin.gif

Hi all,

I just received an "Apple Store Order Acknowledgment" from Apple, with ship date and deliver date.

Does this confirmed my order? blink.gif
*
I also have similar question, the Order Acknowledgement mean order confirm and CC has been charge??

how long from the time you place order til you receive this email??
I received this email less than 15mins after i ordered through Apple Online Store.

That's it? My CC went through and I'm getting my iPhone 4 soon? But when I check online banking, my CC still haven't been charged though, anyone know when do Apple charge the money?
Once I place the order, less than 5 minutes got a call from the bank to verify the transaction, I said yes yes quick faster let the transaction go through! Then around 30 minutes later I got the email  rclxm9.gif
*
my Singapore's friend use Singapore bank CC to order, and the bank no call him, I do receive the order acknowledgement email

not necessary bank must call the CC holder to confirm payment right??

This is bad.

But that is if the custom officer check right? By any chance, is it possible that the custom officer skip my friend? tongue.gif

i think lots of people here buy from Singapore and do get friend's help to take back to Malaysia

anyone mind to share their experience on this, i am getting my friend help to take it back to Malaysia as well, he will be back to Malaysia by flight

if it does impost tax on it, how much can it be? (any rought figure?)

Thanks in advance smile.gif

maxis plan for iphone 4!!

dunno how long is the wait? anyone wanted to cancel their order to switch to maxis plan?
*
need to subscribe new plan sad.gif but good for those may want the iValue/iData plan

I am using Maxis value plan 50 + unlimited data plan RM99, cant see any advantage of subscribing to new plan, cause I am heavy on data usage, always over 15GB per months

QUOTE(Viperion @ Sep 21 2010, 11:51 AM)
Yeah, if they decide to stop you and find the phone they tax you kow kow  tongue.gif
Kastam officers are not stupid, they will either ballpark the figure or use a previous case where someone declared with an invoice before. Trust me, they know as I have a friend who is a Kastam officer  tongue.gif
*
so to be safe, just ask my friend take back the phone put in pocket

they wont tax my friend the iphone 4 box(no iphone inside if they check) right?

let's make it clear. bringing a phone into Msia without the proper paper work is ILLEGAL and consider as SMUGGLING. pls dun ask for advise on how to smuggle phone into Msia.
*
actually quite confuse, if buying thing from other countries and take back to Malaysia is smuggling

if a Malaysian tourist buy a LV bag from Singapore and bring it back for someone at Malaysia, is it consider smuggling?
Singapore will pay back GST to tourist (encourage tourist to buy??), when we reach Malaysia, tax by Malaysia government biggrin.gif

the maxis rate plan juz came out the day b4 yesterday, so those who booked earlier might not hav known tat u dun nid any rate plan for the rm2290 phone only package BUT abt the availability of stocks, this no one can guarantee BUT as i mentioned earlier buying locally does hav its ADVANTAGEOUS , do your maths and reasoning.

no offence, juz my view for New buyers tongue.gif
*
we can buy outright at RM2290 for 16GB iphone 4 from Maxis? (without contract / without hotlink prepaid)

previously iphone 3GS need to have hotlink prepaid, but now seems not
