Yosh, got my iPhone from cousin yesterday and today, go to see Samny to cut my celcom. Wow nice and working, also already done ordering bumper from Apple Store.
*
Did you order the bumper in Malaysia or Singapore? From what I gather you have to send the free bumper to a Singapore address because the iPhone4 isn't officially launch in Malaysia yet.

Using the Apps, ordered in Singapore since no country to selected for Malaysia. Only certain country can ship those bumper.
*
Cool, thanks for the information. Yeah I have two iTunes accounts, one Malaysia and the other Singapore. I was hoping we could order the bumper to be shipped to Malaysia once we got the app into our iPhones. Oh well, gives me another excuse for a second trip to Singapore tongue.gif

i going to buy iphone 4 sg set. can i download application using malaysia itune? and will the data rate charge at international rate?
*
doh.gif Will you be using a Singaporean mobile provider? If not then why will the data charge rate be international unless you are on Maxis and out of Malaysia tongue.gif

I swear, sometimes these questions can really make you doh.gif

You can download applications from the country your account is set too. So if you have a Malaysian iTunes account you can get all applications from Malaysia only. Hence the reason why some people have multiple accounts. Applications are not transferable between accounts tongue.gif

Well there are resellers selling iphone4 (ready stock / pre-order) at garage sales, but the prices are crazy though! A ready stock iphone4 can go up to RM3k =/
*
I was at Kotaraya today and the shops there quoted me RM2800-RM3200 so called "Original" sets. The salesman was spouting some nonsense to me about original/non-original sets from China doh.gif Talking to me like I don't know nuts about Apple products and he was just freshly trained by Steve Jobs himself laugh.gif

Either you can't read or you are just plain lazy:

6. There are some users here ordered from Apple Online Singapore with their Malaysian Credit cards and the order went through.
*Do note: If you use any CC below, it does not guarantee that your order went through
The cards that went through is: Hong Leong, Citibank and UOB [Malaysian CC] & American Express[US Based]

*There are times your order get stuck. There are 2 possible reason. I have stated the alternative as to what you can do if you face the problem.
a) Credit Card Company doesn't release your payment to apple. Alternative: You can change cards or cancel your order.
b) Apple suspect you using credit card from overseas. Alternative: You can cancel your order or send in your documents
*Sending in your documents does not guarantee your order will go through

Already posted in the first page! I've read through from page 1 to 49 over the course of the week and if you bothered to spend some time you will find the information doh.gif So no, I won't link the page for you because I cannot remember where it is & the information was posted by several users. You either take my word for it or find it within this topic. You can ask the TS if he is willing to link tongue.gif

Thanks... sorry for repeating it...
I read here before about its not possible but just thought wanna re-ask again after reading in Digi FB someone managed to do it when he bought IPAD from Apple Online Store SG.
*
I've gathered conflicting reports on this issue. The best is to check with the Singapore customs if the GST is claimable wink.gif

owh ok...thanks for ur info bro...that mean with my public bank Debit Visa...i can able to order for the iphone4 through SG online apple  store d ba?

Added on September 9, 2010, 1:36 am

Bro...Besides that, if i use malaysia CC to do the payment for purchasing SG iphone4.... how about the currency?follow the current 2.32x888? or how to charge about that?
*
Bank currency exchange rates are usually higher than money changers. If money changer is selling SGD at 2.32, expect the banks exchange rate at around 2.35~2.38 or higher depending on the bank tongue.gif

iyo, still nobody reply me about that it needs to take how long to know whether accepted or rejected after i place the order arh???
*
There is no definite answer. Some people were charged after a few days and some were only charged once the status changed to prepare to ship. It really depends on apple store on when they want to charge you. Majority of people were charged once their shipment was shipped as stated in the apple store Q&A.

no apple store?
do you know where can i get it when i going singapore?
ready stock as i will go there for holiday only..i dun have any relative there~
*
Tourist trap spots usually sells the iPhone 4 but at a cut throat price. I'm not too sure but I think Lucky Plaza at Orchard Road should have resellers with stock there. I've heard these units are also parallel importeded from US/EU but I cannot confirm if it's true. You need a thread member whose recently been to Singapore to inform you of more places.

awhhh man....what if they deliver on mon-friday? re-attempt delivery also on mon-fri how?
cause the owner will only be home on the weekends  sweat.gif
*
The delivery company will attempt at least two~three times before they will leave a note for your friend to collect the unit at the nearest collection center. Your friend can call them after the first attempt to specify the best delivery time for the second attempt. I've done this in Malaysia and it should be standard procedure for professional courier companies like DHL, UPS, etc.

Just make sure your friend is aware of your tracking number and he is informed when the first delivery failed when he is not in. You can check this with the tracking number provided when your shipment is sent, not sure if apple provides one as my order is done by a relative in Singapore under their account.

Anyone here successfully use American Express Gold Credit Card from Maybank to buy iPhone? I see at first page can use American Express CC, but dunno the one from Maybank can be use or not.

Anyone can clarify this? Thanks!
*
Most credit card should work without any issues. The most important factor is your bank should be able to contact you for verification should either party (Apple or your bank) needs too verify the purchaser. Majority of rejected orders is because the bank or Apple store could not contact the credit card holder to verify the validity of the transaction or you've ordered above the limit allowed per customer wink.gif Of course there are other factors but if the transaction is normal and verification can be done then it shouldn't be a problem smile.gif

No worries. I've gathered the data from all the pages as I've read most of them. There is another member a few pages back who reported his credit card went through and it was not listed in the main page. Hopefully the TS will add the bank to the list of successful credit cards. You could also assist other members once your transaction is successful and you've received your iPhone 4 wink.gif I've seen many successful transactions from different banks that is not listed in the main page wink.gif

Kastam officers are not stupid, they will either ballpark the figure or use a previous case where someone declared with an invoice before. Trust me, they know as I have a friend who is a Kastam officer tongue.gif
