Different architecture. it's like comparing a Pentium 4 @ 3.4Ghz vs a Core 2 Duo @ 2.6Ghz.

it is becuz liquid metal used a second gen. proc. while the 1ghz in x10 is a first gen.

Lower clock speed doesn't mean weaker proc. Same thing as Pentium 4 2.8ghz vs Intel i3-330m 2.13 ghz

BTW, the newer gen proc's proc isn't stronger. Its just that the GPU is much better. Hence, the high scores in benchmarks. Proc wise, its still roughly the same as the 1st gen.

Archos or Nook. Your choice. But Archos has a higher clocked proc. They're both around RM1.1k unless you decide to import the nook through our service noticeboard. That will cost around RM900 total if you buy from Ebay official nook store.

Vibrant is fine.
Samsung Captivate if you don't need radio. Desire Z if you need physical qwerty.

Not really a good buy now. Maxis is rumoured to take in the SGS 2. Wait till then and if you're budget is higher, take the SGS 2. If you wanna save more money, i'm sure they'll clear stock for the SGS's and reduce the price.

Acer Liquid Metal at RM1299. Best processor at its price.

Htc Desire(AP) 3.6" screen. Very reliable with more roms than Captivate.
Samsung Captivate with 4" screen. Superior display and a much better GPU. Sadly camera lacks flash.
