Don't worry, you are not the only one facing this problem. I am facing this problem as well, but not during the raining days, but in the lift or lecture theather where the signal for the U mobile 3G is quite weak. After sometime, it would switch to the U mobile 3G once the device managed to detect it.

This is one of the reason i still prefer Maxis Internet sometimes because of this issue.

Anyone knows when their Celcom-EDGE roaming will commence (yes, I know their BlackBerry users can do that already - but I am not using BlackBerry)?

the fastest/easy way..just terminate the postpaid and buy new UM simcard and you can activate the prepaid broadband anytime,rm8 i think for the sim card..

because it may takes time 1 to 3 days if you want to convert postpaid to prepaid plan using old simcard/number...

for those of you guys tat wan a second broadband as "spare" or "emergency" i would advice UM prepaid

WHY?

juz buy a sim pack at rm8.00, preloaded rm5.00 inside, do a rm31 e reload

you will hav a total of rm40.65 of credit and 90 days of active validity which u can buy the rm40/mth broadband to use for emergency
