all things is clear now.. Sel gov not going to seized our land. the stop work order give to dev is for evacuate the squatter. reason the stop work order is for safety of two family in the squatters. after they move construction can be start again.. TQ to YB Haniza Talha for their explanation...

Two squatters agreed on acommodation provided by developers. I had spoken to the squatters after separate meeting with developer and YB ( with forum members )
Due to bad experience by squatters since 2003, squatters is waiting on official paper work ( S&P ) from developer. YB Haniza was informed and if all parties are sastisfied, stop work order will be lifted.
Potential problems is the other 200+ squatters waiting for their low cost flat in 'Block E' since 2003/04. We should not allow Sel gov, NGO , squatter, journalists and developer to drag 1120 pa buyer into this problems.

What else did you manage to find out about the squatters?

Actually interested to know their reasons for not accepting the previous offers.

Based on what the squatters tell me.
1. They do not trust 'party' who had caused them hardship in many occasions.
2. They are not happy with the 'party' who use muscle man ( political gangster )to demolished their house. They show me the video.
3. They suspect 'party' is teaming up with opposition to embarrass the sel gov.
4. The 200+ squatters are looking at their bigger issue and are using the two squatters.

I live in pjs1 apartment, got many issue with developer PETER haven't solved after so many years example strata tittle. PETER is a bad developer.

one week passed... any update from the developer or the State government on the lifting of the stop work order??

i think the project abandon de..

Regarding #3, opposition is consider BN because Selangor now in under PKR.

So you mean BN buat kacau ??? Haha

I passed by the site today and there was no activity. Also, the squatters are still staying in their tents. Made me wonder if the project is now abandoned.

Any member can update us?

Added on June 29, 2011, 9:00 amCalled Peters' office yesterday, asked why not yet start work. According to them, they are still waiting letter from related authority within this week.

And, she said next week should be able to start work. Is this true? Or the problem still hanging there.....?

Anyone has latest info to share?

I called Peters as well yesterday and the say it will prob be lifted next week but they are waiting for confirmation from the Sgor government. Peters told me to check with them this Thu evening or Fri

probably need to endure one more week. Need some patient.

Update on the Stop Work Order on 1120 Park Avenue.



Since our last meet, we have continued pouring our efforts via different avenues to lift up the Stop Work Order. We write to inform you that we are close to resolving the issues of all concerned parties. We are confident that the construction of 1120 Park Avenue shall re-commence soon.



We would like to request your patience and give us a little more time (perhaps another week or two) to cement the solutions.



We would like to suggest to cancel the meeting this coming Saturday, 2 July 2011. Instead, we will keep you informed again via email next Friday, 8 July 2011 on the status.
