i keep switching btw my old belkin router and the telekom router... SH*T nia... LOL..

and still it will cut off the connection.. damn! i hate this..

Just check. what if I subscribe for 1mb then later i intend to upgrade to 2mb. it is possible? If yest the contract basis still follow the 1mb or will renew base on 2mb?

Called TMNut on the 24th (of Sept) to ask about my application. They said the contractor commented on my application, "Postponed to October by applicant", fair enough but when I check my status (from page 1), I get "Order not found". Entered the right house number, street address and those needed (asterisked) but still getting it.

And how to call TMNut centre with handphone? iirc, handphone cannot call 100, will get "Not in service" error. How ah?

I think you need to go back to TM Point office where you applied. Ask them the technician contact number & chase the technician to install your streamyx. Done this before.

I applied through an agent that came to my college. Didn't get his number also. But I will try calling TMnut from my home(town) again. Thanks I didn't know I can ask for tech's number (cuz usually it's like privacy issue kan? lol)

now only got back.. thats why complain here!

some question...this hp netbook have battery problems???? since some of my friends here, after full battery charge...only can use about 1 hour before the juice run out...

and it's still new...probably manufacturer defect or??? if so, have to go to TMpoint for warranty?

something miracle happened to me ~

1st week >> Terminate existing streamyx, internet kena cut on the next day

the following week >> head to tm point to check whether my so called "quarantine" period is over anot. they say YES, my account has been closed. then i on the spot submit coolunipack registration form. 4 hours later, TM call me whether my house got ppl anot, they might send ppl to pasang streamyx for me.

i was expecting the whole process will take around 2 months.

now waiting for my HP netbook

unbelievable ? believe it.

my first week - terminate phone and net, hantar form
my second week - phone line reconnect
my third week - only come -_________________-

i only terminate streamyx, but not phone line
and the moment i talk with the TM ppl, i try to be polite and ask them proceed faster

well terminating phone line should be faster since no downtime
but.. haiz, tmnet luan luan lai de xD

so anyone got battery problem on their free netbook?

I faced many problems (including but not limited to WiFi and speaker not working) when using Ubuntu operating system on my HP Mini 110. But, all problems have been resolved by myself. Yeah, I can now use my Netbook as an alternative computer for doing school assignments and final year project, in case my main laptop spoilt.

some of my friends that using the unipack netbook..like 4 out of 7 users all got battery problem, and certain sound problem with their netbook

how you know battery problem? Usually how long can the battery stand? My one can tahan about 2 hours. Problem or not? Thanks

battery shud last for 3 hours plus......

not sure about the battery...3 cells? 4 cells?
but mostly netbook should last around 3-4 hours...even my sis acer aspireone can lasts till 6hours~, with surfing/word etc...

but my friends one...can't even last till 1 hour..like max 50 minutes after full charge...lol

LOL.. i just got my netbook.. have to see how it goes then... haha.. if i'm lucky.. no problem occur... if bad.. hahhaha....

Get a 6 cell battery can play around 8 hours.
