all the DHD fire are faded now.... shame on you SIS..

its not SIS to be blame.. its HTC themselves.. maybe their production is concentrated on WP7 for now due to pressure from microsoft =="

Nexus S? provided it is not a hoax. The newer Samsung rumored to be out Feb looks like a decent piece as well

HTC if you are lurking this thread... go sort out your SCM or priority!

If the rumors are true, Nexus S and the so called GalaxyS2 will be brothers differentiating between stock UI and touchWiz just like Nexus1 and Desire.. so maybe Nexus S will pop out 1st

Reading from all you mates' comments I think most of us are already ready to forgo DHD
Well I followed this thread from the start as well, wait wait wait and wait.
Until now I've decided I will not buy DHD anymore, and I suggest you guys to do the same lol

Double confirmed the date DHD will launch in Malaysia, received the email reply from SIS.


By middle of December 2010 I think we're going to get a few new phones announcement already.
So far the weakness and cons of DHD already make quite a disappointment, somemore the delay of the launch, I would say DHD gonna fail in Malaysia.
I'll list some of the DHD cons here if you haven't know.

- Short battery time [Biggest flaws on the device]
- The sim card compartment cannot be put back perfectly, it will leaves an unpleasant gap [Although there is a solution posted in XDA, people who aren't aware of it will still suffer]
- Camera still weak compare to same level of phones (SGS,Ip4) [Well you can argue on this one]
- Washed out LCD [Not a problem if you don't really mind about the screen]
- Pop out design of the camera is quite stupid

pop out design camera i think is to leave out gap between the table and the speaker ... it let the sound flow out when u put on the table...
well at least this is what i notice from my Desire

LCD color not really noticeable except u compare it side by side with iphone or SGS..it still acceptable

i really like the DHD but the availability is too close to dual core devices.. im not even sure which one i will get now since there arent much info bout newer device and DHD availability is around a month to go..

yeah same here actually. fire in me for the DHD also almost mati liau. wait too long liau, if there is any phone launching soon as long as 4.3" screen and slightly better spec in same form factor i am ready to consider it too.i have been reading reviews and initially i tot the phone can at least last whole day,but now looks like it cant...big big problem for me then.

the thing here is by mid Dec ... we should be seeing alot of interesting mobiles bound to be released by Q1 2011 ... then we sure itchy adi ... HTC just wasted the golden opportunity to get us to buy while the fire is flaring in us ... if it was out even like 2 weeks ago ... i bet a number of us adi got it incld myself
