Hi, anyone could teach me how to play a movie on HTC Desire HD. I did transfer a digital copy of movie to the micro SD via PC, but one of the video player software in it could nt find any video files. Any idea guys ?

u should know how to navigate and look files in ur SDcard btw.. use Astro file manager from the market to look into ur SDcard folders and see all the files in there... u can tap on the video file and it will prompt to play it using the build in video player.. and btw, u should try rockplayer or vplayer which is available from the market.. both offers a wide codec support... try it

the unit i play from vodafone does not have any vodafone badge around the phone..but im not sure about bloatware inside the phone..not really notice about it..
i think it should have bloatware like vodafone apps,vodafone booting screen,etc

just wondering.. when it is launched here.. let say maxis has exclusive and is it the only way to purchase the phone is to sign contract.. cannot just buy the unit from maxis?

supposely still can if they want to finish their stock and catch up with the numbers they promised to sell.. its an agreement of both sides winning.. htc malaysia gave a target sales number to maxis and maxis is supposed to match the number.. the only to match that number is also selling via RRP.. maxis cant only rely on selling via contracts..

and one more thing in mind.. maxis dosent have the exclusivity over DHD.. from the tweets given and replied to be by htc malaysia, sounds like it will be solely sold by SIS.. mytechnews.info also confirmed that only DesireZ is the one exclusive to maxis.. not Desire HD..


sim cards dosent make a different.. u cant track the phone / wipe or lock it if the phone is not connected to the internet or have been reset/wiped.. because it depends on internet connectivity on the phone and the htcsense login.. if the thief wiped the phone or disabled the internet connection, u wont be able to track it..

i guess it will only be handy as in to destory all access to ur account such as gmail and etc.. set the phone to wipe everything up or the thief wipe all ur stored login themselves
