it is because ur hitting direct 500MB.. u need to know that there are a round up system used and the peak/non peak calculation also takes place.. perhaps your phone hits 1.46MB before u disconnect but the system reports it as directly 1.5MB.. and i guess the system also reports everything using kb while phones records in kB. There is a difference there so a slight adjustment/roundup might happen too. Do this for a month and there will be a gap of value between you data counter and the system.. it is best if 500MB, maintain it around 450MB to ensure ur not exceeding.

the thing is, i dont use my maxis for internet cz i hv digi that has unlimited data on my streak..

The only data my sgs used using the maxis is the gmail contact sync.. how can i hitting direct 500mb? Huhu nice assumption though. ;p

The only way to use up all data real fast is YouTube. Been surfing YouTube for past week and it reached 400MB sweat.gif

haha.. u better get JetVD to download youtube straight to phone.. it could save up a few bandwidth since some people tend to watch video all over and over again.. works for me but it wont help much if u watch different youtube video everytime tongue.gif

well data usage is very subjective... i never reaches 400mb until now after 2 months on 500mb package already... never use youtube, rarely touch the facebook... the only thing always i do is surf LYN, gmail, company email...
if you always load movie then of course 500mb is not enough

So singapore still haven't released Desire HD eh?

Btw, if we get from Singapore, do we need to unlock so we can snap our sim card into and use?

its manufacturer design/stupidity or marketing dude.. we cant change that.. what we can do is just to change how we use/use less/get more powersource/get highercapacity battery or simply get another phone with longer lifespan.. haha

eerrr.. actually the plastic cover at the back looks like DHD felt down and needed two pieces of plasters. = =

although alhpadog said that it's quite solid, yet, i wont open it up quite often if i got that. @@
