I think Desire HD would fall under the 'mobile phones with various applications' category.. therefore, it would already be exempted from sales tax..

The budget announcement will take effective next year only...
so i don't think DHD will be lower priced...

unless DHD is imported after 1st of January 2011.

If you read carefully kumahachi pointed out that smartphones are already exempted from sales tax. So DHD won't get any cheaper, ordinary phones (read: feature phones) will.

let hope, for competitiveness reason, DHD need to be priced lowered, doesn't need a gap that is too much compared to a normal phone.

still hope the bill will pass when it being table ...

i prefer telco plan and rates should be cheaper as it gives long term savings.. even if the tax elimination takes place, the reduction would be around 100 only isnt it?

after reading DHD's spec. There's no downside for this phone. Is there any downside?
front camera? I know iP4's screen is better than dhd one. but i dont really care as long as its big
I sold my 3GS 32GB to buy this phone ;D

bagusss jumpship specwise 1 notable downside is the storage of only 1.5gb ... definitely need 2 fork out 100-200 for a sdhc

1.5gb for internal memory rite? How bout external, how much DHD can support max?? 16gb?

all high end phones should be supporting 32gb already.. including dhd..

if u ship it from other country then yes you will
