Anyways, on to serious business before somebody decides to report me for vacation on one liner reports,

I want to ask every Liverpool F.C supporters and fans, what would you like to see this upcoming season?


WISHLIST (may be possible, may be impossible):
- Win the E.P.L



Realistic target:
- Compete for next season's Champions League spot
- Compete for one minor title / trophy.

How about yours?

Insua = Argentina, not Brazil

im looking forward to win minor trophies... League Cup, FA Cup...
then go for top 4, and after that target EPL title....

well, i can bet with you insua will never make it into the brazilian international squad ever.

primarily because he's argentine.

Insua, Babel, Lucas can all go but should not go at a loss to LFC.

Insua looks much better going up than when he's back defending.
Lucas will look better in a slower league
Babel may look better in a lower ranked team

IMHO, all three are not good enough for LFC now. In the future .. who knows? Got two or three years more to wait?

-Buying new players without selling our own.
-Yanks out before the season starts.

-reach the top 8 in the UEFA cup.
-get a replacement for any player that we sold.

I just want stability in the team, with Roy hodgson proving to us he's bringing consistency to the team and bringing the best out of all the players.

Eh, Lucas is aiyish's! I m only after Torres, Pacheco and Insua.

On a serious note, yes, I do agree with you all that Insua is still lack the quality to mount a regular place in the first eleven but dude, he is regarded as a HG player and with the new rules implemented , we need him around.What's the point of selling a HG and get another HG with a higher price?

He is young and will still improve.It would be silly to sell him out for a mere 5m when I think getting a replacement replacing him will probably cost more than that.Plus, he is the only LB left in the squad.If he is not good enough for 1st team, put him on the bench, we need at least TWO players fighting for each position.Aurelio already left, Dossena too and Glenny isn't that convincing there either.We need one more left footer who will be able to fight the place with Insua.

KEEP INSUA and get another LB IN!!!

perhaps RH has some signing concluded already in the dark?

insua, as promising as he is, is still an unfinished article, he may improve vastly in the next few years, but this transfer may indicate that RH considers it too long to wait for him to mature into that kind of player.

let's hope RH has already got someone capable of replacing the position, an upgrade from insua that is.

on a side note, with RH taking over, i'm curious to know what will happen to the youngsters in the team. pacheco, ayala, eccleston, darby, kelly, robinson all made their BPL bows last season, and will any of them get another shot this season? spearing and plessis made their debuts earlier but seemed like they couldn't cement any decent places in the team, pacheco, ayala and kelly impressed in their appearances last season, while darby, robinson and eccleston didn't get enough time to really show what they can do.

nemeth failed to shine at athens and lecce is showing interest right now, i am still hopeful that he will have the chance to don the liverpool red and dazzle the spectators sometime in the near future, and reports are optimistic that he would want to stay and play for liverpool. ngog, for all the critics last season, managed 30+ games last season, there's no reason why nemeth couldn't be afforded the chance to make his debut for the club. nemeth did impress quite a few during pre-season games before this.

with RB gone, perhaps riera would have a second chance with liverpool. babel may be able to stack claim to a position as well. aquilani didn't hit top gear last season but this will be a proper assessment with him being fit from the start.

hey, guys... look back at the video, here you'll see torres celebrating by limping in his jump... the thigh muscle injury could really be bad? plus all the physiotherapy?
