Surprised? Indeed I am, just hope that he signed not because of money.

Anyway that is a great signing. Hopefully he will be one to bring glory back to Anfield.

I think he rejected bid from totentham and join our club.well if voronin deserve 75-80k he for sure deserve to get 90k per week...and we get him for free

Hmm, could it be that RH is employing a winger-reliant formation, seeing all his buys?

Any Fulham F.C-proficient forumers may have a say as to RH's style of football?

Gerrard houllier forgot player like alonso and garcia play alot part in bringing the european cup.Rafa has limited budget after succeeding Houllier and it is impossible to turn houllier team to rafa team.Dont let me start with Diouf and Diao for lack of fund in 2004 .

About Joe Cole getting 10 , well he deserve it and I guess Jovanovic will be fine with that as he wear 23 in Sparta Prague and 14 in Serbia shirt

Lack of fund during rafa's regime is not an issue now...robbie keane for 20mil....aquilani for 20mil...the fund is there..it's a matter how you deal with it... for me...both of them is the same in term of spending money....

houllier claim that his team won the champion league 2005 and my question is how much Rafa been given to spend on his 1st season?is that enough to build his own team on his 1st year?

Ngog have terrible 1st touch? did you guys watching the same watch I watched just now?he play quite well and holding the ball ..he looks promising and i think you guys expect too much from a 21 years old player.Dont compare him with 21 years old messi or bojan or pato , we pay 1++ Million for him only and you guys expect him to be new messi?

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Jul 26 2010, 02:35 PM)
Mmm the more I read, the more it resembles a transfer market on Fantasy Football. The mood is without emotion.

I've always subscribe to the belief that no player is bigger than the club but at the same time, I have come to feel as though Torres was going to be a part of the club for a long time to come. After watching the video hosted by Michael Robinson, I was sure that Fernando Torres would go down as a legend in Liverpool folklore. After all he inherited Dalglish's chant, before the Torres bounce was developed. The sight of him shaking hands with greats like King Kenny, Souness and Sammy Lee in some ways convinced me that he would be a permanent fixture at the club for years to come but alas, it would appear that it was pure fantasy.

The Torres song is the best one for any player in a long time. It has to be the most sung in recent times and it's contagious. Pity some never took the initiative to learn it's lyrics. Come on guys, it has to be near and dear to your heart, no? Back to the point. This is a player that to me was destined for greatness snd it devastates me to think that he may be leaving. In the short time that he has been wearing the red of Liverpool, he has demonstrated the tenacity, heart, professionalism and work ethic becoming of a Liverpool player. He has above all, shown not only respect, but a deep appreciation for the fans.

Sure we can buy quality players from the funds we'll raise from his sale, but we are not guaranteed a player with the same attitude.

Interested to hear why you think he'll stay for sure.
*
thanks for the video duke , after watched the video I still think Torres will stay for another season .He love the kop and this club so much and I think he will give a chance to new management and probably new owner, if he is a liverpool fan he would understand how important ''fernando torres'' to liverpool football club.

i feel want to cry when i watch that video too. i still remember that time when i was watching that match with my cousin and i was about to give up in the first half because of the score but my cousin told me to stay and watch the whole game. For the first time in my life, i will always remember that time and i glad that i stay for the game. When i saw dudek saved the penalty against Svenchenko, i really jump around my house and shout like crazy. I even heard some guys out from my house shout like crazy. It is really amazing of how that moment which will really impact every liverpool's fan lifes.

lol, i dont need liverpool to be the wealthiest club above manc, but stability at the top is vital and sufficient amount of money is invested in the squad and stadium will be more than enough.
