yesterday..15% rise & theres 4 category..pls read earlier in this thread..

Actually 3 categories with prices ranging from 16% to 5%. Not to mention they announced it the same time with J.Cole signing.

It probably doesn't effect anyone of you, but do you feel 15% increase sits well with the loyal fans?

IINM, danny wilson can still be home grown player if he stays at Liverpool until 21 years old.

RH may have just pulled a rabbit (joe) out of the hat. Though it's his England team mates (gerrard & Carra) to may have persuaded the once 'lost' miraculé may have the stage to blossom.

It may well be the incentive key players, including javier M to stay. If cole stays off the treatment table, he would get my nod over benny anytime.

we need to sell of wingers. we got too many of them. babel, kuyt, jovanovic, j.cole, maxi and riera.

we got many but not genuine winger bro...only maxi is genuine..but he play on the right...we need genuine left winger..if babbel wanna play as a winger..should be on the right...he can cross better with his right foot..remember his cross for torres winning goal againts westham.... we need left footed winger...before this we had aurelio who can play as left winger with riera... if we wanna sell riera..we must get his replacement...not use the money for other position...we might be in trouble

nah. better sell riera or babel. but i think we can get more money if sell babel to birm. then with that money we can buy a good LB. riera can goes out too if he wants. still we have alot of young player who eager to play for 1st team. so this is the time to offload some of senior player and buy a good player for other position. this will boost the confidence of player and club buyer.

although i think Roy wont sell many players, he will gives player a chance to prove it in friendly match. he also will try to sequezze the team to small. our priority is to get top 4 this season.

I believe he does but he could have definitely got the same at Spurs. In fact, he would probably have more opportunities there.

I think everyone is fast forgetting our lack of depth problem last season. sweat.gif
We need at least 2 good players for every position, else we'll be in trouble again if injuries strike again. sweat.gif

yes cheez, but we have more than 2 now in left. jovanovic, maxi and riera..and also babel can play there too..and even cole (although he prefer to play in middle) riera can play winger for wide area, more option for us. but is this what riera wants? he will be 2nd or 3rd option for left side. i think he will moans again. so sell him, and get better player for other position such as LB and striker.

As it stands, I think there is still more room for pessimism than there is optimism, especially since Torres has been mum about his future. I'm hoping that Gerrard's pledge to stay will be enough to assure Torres that the club isn't on a slippery slope. So far we've have more players leaving than we have players coming in which is natural given that we constantly have to raise funds first. Let's be realistic though. I seriously doubt we'll be mounting a title challenge in the coming season or even the season after, not until the club has achieved some stability. The current owners will not invest any money into the club and all Hodgson can do is keep us where we are so our value won't plummet before we find new ownership. Why am I thinking of the season ahead when everyone else is talking about transfer news? Because I still cringe at the thought of the mancs winning no.19 before we do.

After reading Carragher's autobiography, one thing struck me. With us at the mancs, it's like of like Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher. They both only went head to head briefly at the latter was still a relative infant in the sport. They never met at the peak of their careers. The same can be said of us and the mancs. We were dominant up until 1990 and the mancs after. Our decline coincided with the resignation of Kenny Dalglish and like Carra says, I'm positive the past 2 decades would be very different had he stayed on. Will the mancs era of dominance only end after the resignation of Alex Ferguson? I'd hate to think so because he's stayed on despite hinting at retirement 5 seasons ago. I don't think he'll be done until he's surpassed our record of 18 titles, and 5 European Cups, and they look odds on to achieve that feat although it's going to be more challenging with the likes of Man City also having been blessed with a pot of gold.

and that danny kid is 18 years old..definitely not a first team player i think..but 5mil is wow (maybe 2mil) is quite big

i know its only the SPL but good things do come out of Scotland, in form of Paisley, Dalglish, Hansen, Steve Nicol, Souness...and of course..Garry Macca

so i am optimistic about Wilson...read in RAWK forums (from those who watched him played for Rangers) that he is those `comfortable with the ball' type of defenders, who did well for Rangers last season. At only 18, i hope he'll improve.

if reference to Duke's thread, my wish for next season? (in this priority...)

1. club to have better owners than G and H
2. No title 19 for Mancs
3. A good cup run for Liverpool.
4. Torres to give us another year to see if the club is improving
5. Attractive football, with goals coming in from Aqui, Jova, Cole, Kuyt, and the others
6. Top 3.

anyway, for those of you who missed looking at our guys...plenty of latest pics here...even of Cole in Liverpool training outfit.....Aqui, Jova, Babel, Lukas...Stevie G...they are all here.
