So... Anybody here with Gingerbread keyboard?

Just join the forum, and just decided to install new ROM.

But there is one thing that is bugging me. Got all the files that I need so just waiting for the answer for this one question before I take the plunge.

When I install the new ROM, can I still teether my phone to my PC?
If I can't and need to download an apps for it, where can I get it?

Consider your Hero as dead if you decided to wait for official stuff. Hero oldfags like some of us would suggest to go to the dark side.

how come after i login using facebook app, then from PC browser there shows suspicious activity accessed Near Rotterdam, NL (Today at 3:42am) from Opera for WinXP?

jst got a 2nd hand HERO.... updated with 2.1 update 1.

now wonder if i should port over like my sgs.
problem is, is there a posibility like SGS which i can use ODIN to flash all the way back to official firmware?

any of you guys here had any problems receiving sms ? I cant received any of them this couple of days..Help plz... Thanks

Gingerbread_2.3.1_r1_alpha1 This is a pure alpha, borrowed some from Lox_Dev particular solution on how to boot up

How to install then

1: Wipe of all in recovery
2: In recovery, adb shell run command

Code:
mount /system && rm -rf /system/* && umount /systemthen flash the rom
3: Reboot boot and then when everything is ready
4: Reboot to recovery and flash gapps and reboot again
5: Enjoy

What works in cm rom everything I tried in all cases,and in gingerbread well it's a surprise, at least it is booting up

heard Froyo coming for Hero within 2 weeks' time....?

Hi guys, recently I flashed my hero with a few ROMs, first with Froyo's Final android Stock which I had a problem with the SMS, followed by CM's 6.1.
However, after flashing from a very old VillianROM (5.3 i think), I have problems with phone calls, namely I can't get a dial tone when I call although the call went through, the receiver can hear me but I can't hear them, etc. Can anyone let me know what is the problem here and the solution? >.< Thanks a lot in advance
