well, i didn't check the hero yet, but i think its 1.6 maybe.. definitely need to upgrade. what custom rom did u suggest? but i already download the 2.2 stock. haha

Get a custom ROM if you want Froyo, because HTC probably will never officially provide a Froyo ROM for the Hero.

The reason why I went for the official HTC Asia 2.1 update is because
1) Works well with my Eclipse application debugging; All the 2.2 Froyo ports for Hero don't have Sense and may not work well with HTC drivers
2) Battery life seems better
3) Comes with APNs configured properly with local telcos

ive just done upgrading the rom to Cyanogen Mod 6.1.0. The problem is, it doesnt have Market. And I've try do install app via QR Code using barcode scanner also cannot. Why is this happen?

You might have problems at welcome screen if you skip full wipe. Ie, touch android to start, keep touching and nothing would happen.

Oh hai. You can do screenshot using ShootMe, Screenshot It, drocap2 etc. Root is a must though.

Else, use ddms.bat from your tools folder inside Android SDK.
