Hero Specs


HTC launched their latest Android phone, with its state of the art HTC Sense user interface (Sense UI), the Hero, in MidValley Gardens Hotel. Hi, newbie here...have used Hero for past 6 month, just upgrade the 2.1 official OS last night thru their FOTA, it takes almost 2 hrs to complete.

Just switch your Wifi and the notification will appear on your screen.

currently running on villainrom 12...
problems faced : some of my previous apps like hancent and mixzing cant be intalled. Says installation unsuccessful. When i click on it, it says insufficient storage available...but i have plenty of memory left..help?

Try reboot your Hero.

Else, add this line to your update-script

CODE
delete DATA:app
copy_dir PACKAGE:data DATA:
set_perm 1000 1000 0771 DATA:app


Resign and reflash your VR12.

This is true only if you cannot install from the Market at all.

Edit: Maybe you can paste VR12 update-script here.

Anyone on CyanogenMod 5.0.8? It's awesome on the N1. Wonder how does it fare on a Hero. I saw you replying to the thread on xda ,LEVI. Did you try it out? tongue.gif

I'll definitely flash to CM6 once it's final. The RC1 right now is not that stable. CM5.0.08 is Eclair but uses Froyo radio.
