If you wanted the old 1.5 original boot animation, I guess you can extract it yourself from a stock 1.5 ROM. They are available afaik from Modaco: http://goo.gl/zQav.

I wanted to help, however I deleted all 1.5 and 2.1 ROM from my PC weeks ago ;_;

i cant connect my hero to pc.. installed HTCsync still not detect..even cant use share internet function..even i can use tether app but its a battery drainer..and my hero become so hot..
any1 facing similar problem?

What tether app you are using? Wired/wireless?

you mean adb ? HTCsync only works with sense rom, not vanilla.

i use aNetSharre app.. wireless

this time a bit weird..everything cant except mount as external storage and charge..
my pc use win7 ultimate and my netbook use win7 starter.. i dont think that the cause of the problem..

How about a wired tether? EasyTether, PdaNet, Wired Tether for Root Users to name a few.

I remember hero 1st launcher was RM2399 if i'm not mistaken, last year september if not mistaken..

Not yet try elelinux; I'm tired flashing stuff for the time being.

I remember the day I called SiS around nine something in the morning. I asked if Hero is available locally. The girl said they are distributing Hero to shops and should be ready for purchase by afternoon the same day.

After office I went to LYP and book myself a set. The next day I have mine. My Hero is almost a year old nao.
