So most Malaysian will be heading to NA servers / EU servers ? I personally might be joining NA..
*
THere is no such thing as NA/JPN/EU servers there is only 1 INT server, which NA/EU/JPN are playing in mix servers.

Any news about FFXIV SLi capability? Does the so called "open beta" is SLi enabled? It sucks if the driver is not out for 2-3 months  sad.gif  I seriously hope that I could play the release version with SLi enabled *crosses finger*
*
U can force it to run under SLI.
I've test the benchmark to run SLI and it's working.
Though a little dissapointed for the pnts lol..
I've run single GPU which stucked at 2900 and once i enabled sli it managed to break untill 4000.
I believed that my current spec is a bottleneck because of windowxp.
I've nv tested low res coz it doesnt matters to me anyway.
Take note though, my current spec everything runs at stocked and none is OCed biggrin.gif
Wanted to try furmark but i saw the temp skyrocketting towards 90 above n still not yet stopping w~ i immediately kill it and uninstall.

Your GPU is? Same as mine or 470? Or 480? And how do you enable the SLi? Please do tell, or redirect me to any web or forum explaining it. I've yet to test the benchmark cuz I'm afraid to see the low score ahaha laugh.gif

oh.. i juz noticed my sig didnt put in the 460 haha..

Mine is GTX460.
If ur one is 470/480 then shud be higher then me if sli.

Make sure u enable SLI before attempting.

Goto Nvidia Control Panel.
->3D Settings
->Program Settings
->Select a program to customize
->Add Final Fantasy XIV Benchmarch.exe/FF14.exe for those in beta.
Apply.

Don't believe ?
Disable SLI and run the benchmark.
Enable SLI and run the benchmark.

Compare and u'll see that.
Don't Bother looking at the result page. It won't show SLI. But the scores will show u the great difference.

Window XP really sux for SLI lol...
Try Running SLI while watching any movies u'll get the stupid nv infinity loop bsod crap.
Somemore winxp cannot fully utilize i7 and sli 460's full potential.
Really need win7 and 64bit to fully maximize the power.

u want highscore very easily only XD.
OC both ur Processor and GPU.
GF 104 chips really an improved chipsets of the ver of GF100 ones.
Though i won't suggest torturing ur gpu since ff14 won't really maximize the usage of the game.

I'm not really into maximizing the eye candy features. Just being able to play in a form that no stuttering happened, it's all good enough smile.gif

like that can break 3000 very sufficient. U don't need above 5-6k.
For pc that able to break 3k pnts, i notice it's more then sufficient for ff14.
below 3k there'll be somepnt the gpu find it hard to push the rendering details up. It'll stutter abit when rendering special effects.

It's always a debatable issue. having which faster would be better. Best is having both for maximum performance.
Processor's does play a vital role towards gaming. GPU no doubt is the main but it requires processors and ram to fully maximize it's useage.
Processor = the heart
GPU = Lungs.
Having a weaker side on either side would means a bottleneck for performance.

Though i'm very comfortable with my pc as long it's able to performe what i required.
I'm more concerned on the temperature. As long as it seats around 80-83 during heavy load shud be very nice.

But i worry after the new system payment out, Malaysia is under the Europe Region...... Then might got trouble if the credit card use must match with the address... Hahaha....
