Looking for it a very long time. Don't believe they make screw 4000K fittings. I am actually looking for 3000K but they don't have that either... rclxub.gif

If you ever find them please tell me.

i see, so is there any cool-white for T5/T8 tubes?

my living room are with downlights and light-cove, normally ppl will put cool-daylight for downlight, and warm-white for T5/T8 tubes (in the light cove). I wonder is any ppl put cool-white in the light cove (if there is cool white T5 tubes) ?

I have successfully found Cool White (4000K) bulbs with E27 (screw-type) bases. You can buy these from Wong Lighting located in Paramount Garden. Head to www.wonglighting.com.my for more info or call them at 03-78760879. However, they only have 18W bulbs in stock. Also, Osram is the only company (if I'm not mistaken) that brings these bulbs into Malaysia.

I believe T5/T8 tubes are also available in Cool White.

If not mistake it was 13 Watt, and 6in round type...

Also, just signed off a package with them to get RM400 discount.

all sifus,
I found some led downlight from a chinese supplier.
220v, 3W, but only 3 inch.
I saw some comment that 6 or 8 inch is recommended.
Can i use more units to 'compensate' the brightness' ?
Eg. 6inch, 12W, use one downlight every 4 feet.
3 inch, 3W , use one downlight every 2 feet ??

hhmm.. one thing bad is it will be more work for wiring and plaster ceiling ...

Thanks Attached Image

looks nice....how much is it?

probably can use as a supplement source of light rather than main,if you use only 3w lights you gonna need lot of it and lot more wiring rclxub.gif

just my 2 cent... whistling.gif

The seller said that the led light is more bright than the normal bulk.
my living room is 15x24 ft and he suggested that 5pcs 3W or 4pcs 4W will do.

I doubt .... any sifu can comment?

Have you check out from those light show how it (similar) look like? It not suitable for replace downlight except facing the wall..it too bright when look direct.

Which lighting shop? I was told that Made In China LED has many quality. Most importantly, the LED must be bright enough.

eyaball ? Im not sure, its come with casing. May be i misunderstand downlight or ceiling light.
I just bought 2 to test.

5 pcs for my living room is surely not enough. But the light is good looking.

Anyone know roughly how much to get one in malaysia?

8 to 10 downlights per room/area? You must have a very big house or you will go blind by the light! With LED with it not only blind you but will also bankcrupt you! biggrin.gif Other than that, no issue.
