dats the other thing.
Celcom just promises 3.6Mbps, and delivers whatever they feel like. Digi promises only .7 Mbps, but they deliver |

Could be a mistake from DiGi, not surprisingly as not all CS has every piece of information.
Reason being there's no i90 plan at all. The plan is still 88, 138 and 238. The saving of 48 is actually a "rebate" for 138 plan, monthly = RM90. As clearly stated in DiGi site, applicable for new sign-up only. QUOTE(doomx @ Jul 27 2010, 01:02 PM) (12:56:09 pm) DiGi CS: Hi, welcome to D'Chat. My Name is Y. How may I assist you? (12:56:11 pm) DiGi CS: Hi, this is Y How may I assist you? (12:56:33 pm) X: Hi Y i would like to ask something about my iPhone plan the i88 (12:56:46 pm) DiGi CS: Alright (12:56:54 pm) X: currently im using the i88 can i upgrade to the i90 plan? (12:57:09 pm) X: the new plan from digi with the price cut (12:57:13 pm) DiGi CS: Yes can (12:57:28 pm) X: so means monthly i pay i90 right? (12:57:30 pm) DiGi CS: Discount rate is for 24months (12:57:30 pm) XG: how can i do it? (12:58:16 pm) DiGi CS: I can assist you to send request for the changes (12:58:16 pm) X: after upgrade i will receive 450 mins of call and 400 smses instead of the current 200 mins of call and 200 sms. (12:58:22 pm) DiGi CS: It will be done within 24hours (12:58:30 pm) X: am i right? (12:58:49 pm) X: So miss, means im paying rm90 per month now? (12:58:56 pm) DiGi CS: Yes right (12:59:10 pm) X: ok (12:59:21 pm) X: Sounds like a better upgrade than the one im currently using (12:59:32 pm) X: Can u send request for the changes? Thanks :-) (12:59:40 pm) DiGi CS: Sure I will send for you (12:59:57 pm) DiGi CS: You will receive a sms notification once done. So guys it seems like we can upgrade our current i88 plan to the i90 plan with double the mins of call which is 450 mins and double the sms 400 smses for merely rm2. I will keep u all updated |

This is a repost from my previous thread, my bad with that.
Hi, just wanna ask if any of you have ever faced such an issue. My iPhone has no data plan so I removed the APN from my phone. However, when my bill came this month, Digi is charging me for data charges. The thing is I did not update the APN to connect to Digi's data network. Even weirder is the charges only happened when I was at Genting. Data charges started just about after I arrived at Genting and stopped just before I left Genting. Now I have disputed my case with Digi, and they are solely blaming it on the iPhone saying it is a flaw in OS3 and that is why there is OS4 (seriously, WTF?!) I mean, if it is really due to the iPhone, doesn't the data charge happen a lot more often other than just the time I was in Genting. Hell, why does it happen to 2 iPhones on 2 seperate lines at the exact same time. Well, I am just here to enquire and maybe inform the rest while I continue to dispute my case with Digi. QUOTE(Digi Customer Service) Please be informed WiFi still able to connect to the internet without APN setting. Therefore, when the WiFi connection was interrupted, the connection was automatically switch to the default setting which is diginet. Well, in regards to what everyone else may think.Digi can change your APN settings to what they wish it to be. Even better, they can change it back to your what your setting was before they changed as last I checked, my APN is still the same. |

i think the main reason is existing subscribers never really read the conditions thoroughly, jumping to conclusions thinking they are able to get better deals. Come on, Digi is a company that is here to make money while providing a service, if they let every Tom d*** and Harry enjoy every bloody new promotions, how the hell are they able to afford the infrastructure to serve its customers? I am sure if you are digi, you will think the same way too.

God damn it what pisses me off is the fact that she said it can be done and also i forget to refer here about the package. The problem is that they should at least tell me that it can't be done right instead of telling me that it can be done. If u don't like what u read then don't visit here thanks. |

^doomx i think i have as much rights to be here as you. Last i checked, they did not restrict access to other people. I did not single you out personally but then again, how many complains have you seen from other people saying they have been cheated as Digi has launched yet another plan with cheaper monthly plan yet when they sign up, they pay X amount, and now it's Y amount per month.

Its a business people, marketing and plans change to suit the market not individuals aight, get a grip, you signed a contract make sure you follow through. |
