I know no phone is perfect but what does the 720 in XT720 means?

It boasts the ability to capture hd video at 720p resolution, but they never mentioned it will be juddery do they? It's like buying a rice cooker which seller claim can cook rice in just 10 minutes but you get a porridge instead. There is no point to do hd video when you get end result like that, it just make you disappointed having the phone.

Btw, that video above was taken by me on a bright sunny morning. I did took a video during sunset but I never bother to save it because it was too bad.

honestly i never bother bout hd recording coz i already have hd camcoder...wat i need is just smartphone n entertaiment gadget...

xt720 means 720mhz 720p and 720' degree of entertainment

Can this phone record in lower reso. i.e: VGA & QVGA? hows the recording quality for those?

this is not about maximum satisfaction bro.. its about the capability of a multi-function device to give a minimum required performance.

xt does not need to have a good hd recording just like an hd camcoder for us to be satisfied.. a performance on par with other hp is more than enough.. which this fella is not capable of at the moment..

i gotta say i agreed with sanosizo.. whats with those "720" boasts if the quality of that particular feature is pathetic.. just my 2 cents..

my phone no problem with hd recording...but on vga more smoothness can see.,this phone need app2sd n jit tweak..thats all..wat the big problem..hehe

That time dont know why tweaked my phone until got problem with the 'low system memory' problem... but after apply the jit no more lag

I have no problem with SD recording. It's much better than milestone sd recording.

I have yet to see smooth hd recording with this phone. For other things, I'm satisfied with it. It just that the reason why I bought this phone was to eliminate having a separate camera in my pocket.

khalpowers, how do you do the boot changing? any apps or steps to achieve this? one more thing i saw that youtube of 1 of your videos you played games while you tv output it with HDMI. is that some app you are using? i can't seem to make it appear to my HD tv unless i'm running some videos. not wowing enough to wow my family with it. hoepfully you could came out some answers to my queries. thanks and i love android on xt720.. i've managed to flash my phone and other stuffs to it but yeah i just need some more infos for that.
