I encountered my Google Chrome auto shut down during surfing... After read through net.. I found my IDM is the main cause. Then I followed the instruction given step by step.. Now my Chrome never shut down automatically..

constructive answer needed (ubuntu expert):

- i would like to used class 10 HC-SD as host for Ubuntu OS.
Question:
(1) can i install Ubuntu on SD card and dual boot it while window OS is in HDD?
(2) can HP mini "boot sequence aka boot priority" sets to boot from flashdrive?
(3) what is the max speed of read/write of the card reader? izzit same like high-speed USB?

Hello people.

I am a new user to HP Mini 110-3004tu. I installed ubuntu netbook edition via Wubi on this netbook few weeks ago, and after an update i could not log into ubuntu. I guess it was the update problem which update my grub.

So i went back to windows to uninstall ubuntu netbook edition. However, i uninstalled it using the way of Control Panel -> Uninstall a program -> Uninstall Ubuntu Netbook Edition. I did not use the uninstaller available in Wubi folder. After successful uninstallation, i went to check my C: drive to see whether the 20GB allocated for the ubuntu netbook edition previous came back or not. But, unfortunately, it did not came back.

When i right click and view its properties, it states that i've use 53GB of my C: drive. But, when i use WinDirStat to scan my C: drive, it only states that i'm using 28GB only. The 20GB did not return to my C: drive.

Hence, here i am asking anyone here might encounter this problem before, or has a solution or clue to this problem. Thank you so much guys!

Can i use system restore to restore my HP mini to earlier days when i did not install ubuntu yet? Does this way work? And, if it does not work, i can restore to current state right?

Keon1217, could you please attach the picture again... i am really interested to see if it really works with ddr3..

Added on October 11, 2010, 2:36 pmDid some reading on the DDR2 vs DDR3 and can come to conclusion that there is no significant difference other than lower voltages being used by DDR3 and therefore better battery life.

So its Cost vs Battery Life... smile.gif but good to know that it can support DDR3.. can take a pic of the RAM inside your netbook Keon1217?
