can anyone lists what's the softwares/apps he's/she's been running on this netbook and the ratings? i wonder what's this netbook can do.

Pretty much everything normal laptop can do.

Just got my netbook 2 days ago

Just wondering what is the recommended antivirus for our netbook...

I've already create a Recovery CD to USB and have successfully restore it but the Restore partition is missing can any tell me what's is going on.

I also try to restore from hdd but only blank screen and some cursor blinking at the botom of the screen?

bro, i don't know if this answered already or not, since i'm too lazy to read all the posts (20+ pages meh)
about the problem.. the D recovery still can be used, but u need to find the hp recovery program.. look for it in the program files folder in the windows.old folder.. the should be 'msi' or something like that.. inside you'll see the hp recovery program.. copy the whole folder into the new win7 ultimate program file folder, and it should run fine when use f11 at bios.. done this at my old and stolen compaq lappy, and works perfectly..

if, u install win7ultimate, then use f11, sure format back to win7starter.. but still, there's the fail-safe point, isn't it? if ultimate got problem, just can revert back to win7starter ori 1 anytime.. no fuss about not genuine whatsoever...

Added on September 28, 2010, 4:15 pmi got the answer to this problem somewhere in here, recent post.. just check for it...
but make sure the windows.old folder from the win7starter still available after she format to win7ultimate..
if not, u just have to find sum1 that using the same lappy, but still using the win7starter, coz the program for that f11 recovery resides in the win7starter program files..

i already check my sis netbook last raya. and her fren format drive c when install win7 ultimate...

so i format again because her fren not install windows 7U perfectly... to much error as i state before... hang, explorer.exe stop responnding. bla...bla...bla...

so if anybody here can provide me the folder u said above or copy recovery disc of their netbook and post to me also nice!!!

i'll try uploading my recovery folder to u, since i'm using hp mini 110-3004tu that came with streamyx now, as my main lappy.. i lost my precious compaq last week, so this is the replacement that i can afford..

Don't use HP recovery creator image to restore just use WD TrueImage great - back up all partition to image with *.tib it will restore eveything as Factory Default

HP recovery will cause D:\recovery partition gone... after restore from it
