so guys...do you took out the battery and just use the cable?

for me I just charge it while using, when the battery's full, I turn off the cable until I have to recharge it again. Is it safe for my battery?

Yeah, i used windows anytime upgrade. It was pretty simple. And its smooth too..

About battery, batteries are meant to be used, so if you full charge it and keep it, its not very healthy for the battery. Just use it. How long you want to keep your laptop? 1000 years kah? Just don't overcharge it and if you are near a plug, just use the plug with the battery removed. Don't just keep the battery in the drawer. It serves no purpose..

the 2 years warranty will cover the battery or not? If it does, then can claim it if anything goes wrong with the battery. Netbook designed to be used off charge. So no point call it netbook when carrying the the charger together with this netbook.

Does overcharge still applies to the newer devices? As i know the device will cut of the charging process when the battery completely charged 100%. Enlighten me on both issues.

Thank you.

And no, Battery should be 3 months or 6 months if I remember correctly. It doesn't cover that long

Don't worry, your battery wont explode if you remove it or slot it in while on A/C. Also, yes, the AC will cut off when its 100% charged. The reason this is not good is that your battery will be a white elephant. Why want to keep your battery fully charged and then not use it? Isn't that the reason why you get a notebook instead of a desktop?

This is what i do.. i usually charge my netbook to 100% and then use it till around 10 - 15% and then charge it again. Batteries are meant to be used... Also, a study was written that if you'd like to keep your battery and not use it, charge it to 30 - 40 % and keep it, it will last longer than keeping it charged at 100%. This is why when the notebook is shipped to you, there is enough battery for installing/configuring the remaining windows XP/7.

Hope this clarifies...
