QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jul 29 2010, 01:04 AM) Ok, glad the diarrhea stopped. But the weight is a bit disturbing. 20g is underweight, most of the well bred joeys are 20g at 14 days Out of pouch. So it is worrying. But I have seen joeys that are 18g but after follow my diet, put on weight and now are big size gliders. Can i have that injection from Dr Yeoh? Now the possibility is mites. coz if very itchy, it could be mites. So have to take ivermectin injection for it. It can also be allergies but it is hard to say, it can be anything. |

No matter how good a vet is, it's still possible where misdiagnosis happen.. especially in sugar glider..they are just too small and a lot complication in diagnosing them.. can call Dr Jenny gv Dr Yeoh a lecture about how to treat gliders and other exotic pets ka? LoL QUOTE(Fieqra @ Jul 29 2010, 12:52 PM) I think Dr Yeoh can treat mites, there are some forum members' glider treated by him before. |

Make sure u gut load the insects before feeding to ur glider..to make sure it's clean and full of nutrition.btw, they do eat insect but is it okay for them to be feed with alive cricket that are sold in fishing shop? QUOTE(ForGe @ Jul 30 2010, 03:39 AM) hmm can anyone explained to me why my glider are smaller the the baby glider u see i have 2 glider with me 1 my chopper and the other 1 is my friends i take care of her coz she is an underage joeys but its been a month since i take care of chichi and now chichi are biger then chopper...but chopper are a male glider that 3 month old n chicji are femail glider age are about 2 month++... Just like human, we have slim people and fat people.. Some gliders are born with bigger bone structure and some are smaller.. To determine a glider is sick or not, we shouldnt jus justify by looking at their size.. Routine behavioral, eating appetite, physical symptoms should be taken into account.. any one care to explained what going on here n are my chopper sick or any things..... When glider immune system goes down, the first thing the body will give out is the skin and coat, because the body wan to reserve the immunity for other major organs and system.. therefore, loss of fur/dull coat/thinning hair are always the first symptom to show up when a glider is sick... Added on July 30, 2010, 11:36 am QUOTE(Fieqra @ Jul 29 2010, 05:00 PM) TQ guys.. There are difference between all kind of insects.. Their phosphorus protein and fat content are all vary.really appreciate all the advice.... Erm..juz wanna know something.. is there any different between mealworm, superworm, waxworm, etc..? i never give her any other insects unless mealworms...is it ok? Not only that, the same mealworm in different life stages (pupae, worms, beetle, eggs) will have different nutritional analysis too.. Amount of insects feeding really depend on the diet that you are using. If you are HPW user, u do not need to feed insects because HPW has given sufficient protein to your glider. Instead, we use insects as treats.. jus one or two in a day... This post has been edited by eric138: Jul 30 2010, 11:36 AM |

QUOTE(uSry^_^ @ Jul 30 2010, 05:21 PM) Teddy was neutered by Dr. Yeoh nearly 3 years ago. He's still here, happy and healthy. In fact he is healthier after being neutered.Be warned though. Dr. Yeoh's method is different than Dr. Jenny's. Dr. Yeoh removed the entire ball sack, while Dr. Jenny keeps it. |
