Getting Started

QUOTE(Kent3888 @ Aug 11 2010, 05:52 PM) Don worry.... it's not an expensive bag, as long as the equipment is in perfect condition. the bag u can get it for 50-70 bucks Very true. Check the condition of the camera thoroughly. Make sure it never been drop. At all. Nice if the camera you bought comes with a box. But you need a camera bag to store your equipments while traveling, not the box. Therefore, get a proper bag for it.

I would suggest you to hold on first, they are announcing the D3100 soon. Basically could wait and see what the new model offers and also how much the price differences is.

U guy agree on this statement?
if you have a lens that is 50mm in length don’t shoot any slower than 1/60th of a second if you have a lens with a 100mm focal length shoot at 1/125th of a second or faster if you are shooting with a lens of 200mm shoot at 1/250th of a second or faster

Basically without VR, I can do 1/100s at 200mm also, just hit rate not as good as when I do at 1/200s.

Wonder y u turn of the VR since u pay so much for that.... IQ better? I nvr shoot without VR, I think the pic is unusable at 200mm without VR
